I agree mate.. i dont post as much as i used to because of the influx in the new breed of poster and the negativety that is passed around. Whilst I can understand partially surely now is the time to get behind the lads and get down to business doing what we do so well... supporting the team as we enter a part of the season where most of the games, on paper anyway, are winnable.

Not a shit post though is it fella he got a fair point in saying if we can win the next two games then alot of people will still have hope of us staying up.After the performance against spurs we are all run down and now we need to look forward and win the next two games as they will make or break us.

your optimism actually made me smile for the first time today, fce....cheers Don't know about Sunderland, as it's away and we're notoriously shit any more than 8 feet outside Stanley Matthews way, but Man Citeh in front of 25,000 stokies who are pissed off and needing to release some tension, i reckon will be the most difficult game for a visiting team so far! Bring it on

The only possible away win I can see is West Brom...other than that forget it I reckon. Just hope we win enough at home and can pick a few draws up away.

Last night aside, our recent performances do not merit the level of negativity, abuse and ridicule being posted on this board. Last night was woeful and I think most of us can agree that the continued selection of Cresswell is baffling, but our performances against Liverpool and Man U at home and Chelsea away should not be forgotten. With a little more luck on our side we would be looking at things very differently right now, and hopefully some of that luck will start coming our way against Citeh on Satdee.
It seems there are many on here who have quickly forgotten where we have come from and where we have been for the past twent odd years. We all knew at the start of the season that it was going to be a mammouth task to even compete, but we are going into the second half of the season just a few points behind the likes of Spurs, Newcastle, Middlesborough, Blackburn, Man City, Sunderland and many other teams who have far stronger squads and far greater resources than we do. There is a long way to go and there will certainly be more "downer" moments like last night, but the same moaning, whining pricks that come out to bitch after a poor performance will no doubt be off the radar on Saturday if we beat Man City, which we are more than capable of doing. We still have a great chance of surviving the rollercoaster ride, and it is about time some people actually got behind the club and gave credit where it is due.

Never one to be negative just for the sake of it and admirable sentiments my mate, but I must say 'blind hope' and 'blind faith' readily spring to mind.
In order to achieve what you and the rest of us are yearning for there's got to be a sea change by the manager and up to pres he's really shown no inclination at all to change his spots.

You're a Stoke fan like the rest of us mate so "blind faith" and "blind hope" should be nothing new, they are what we have been clinging to for most of our lives and they are what seperate us from the gloryhunting wankers who choose to follow a team that they have absolutely absolutely no reason to follow other than guaranteed success.

You better tell our manager then, because i don't think he sees us as capable of beating as big a club as Manchester City.
