Was this regarded as a Stoke song.
I know of the John Zigger Zagger Bailey connection. Can someone give a bit more info on how it came about. There was also a play, was this before or after the song?

Don't remember it's derivation, but Peter Terson was playwright at Vic in Hartshill and wrote the lay based on the Boothen End at the Vic.
