been fucking saying that all season, average about 20% play so we have 18 mins to control and score in the game,no fucking chance. Our defence is not good enough to play to that system. We need to push upfield a bit even if we play 5 genuine midfielders.

He acknowledges we backed off too much in the first half, and we did change that after half-time.
Clearly need to look at how we're playing away from home, but he's tried one or two things and we just can't seem to get it right. I'd suggest a five man midfield, as most clubs play this way away from home, but we're really lacking in the midfield department.

The problem isn't just about the way we play away. Let's be honest, it's very similar at home. Allowing the opposition to come onto us with 10 players behind the ball in our own half. Possession stats, home and away are frightening. I don't recall a game in the last two months or so, where we have had even 40% of the possession and more usually 30% or less. FGS when are we going to really attack a team and put them on the defensive for 90 mins? We have got to change the way we play, utilise our attacking options ( Lawrence, Fuller, Beattie) and the only way to do it is for Pulis to accept it aint working as it is. We need a QUALITY midfield player to push us forward. Forget just trying the long throws, they ain't working anymore. For me, it's time to change or we suffer the consequences. We are running out of time (and games) It's not too late but Pulis needs to accept it isn't working and change it and at the same time admit that at least 50% of his signings this year have been disasterous. An admission of his unhealthy obsession with playing Cresswell might also be useful.

Your last point is vital as it frees up a place in the team for a real footballer!

Forget the second half performance.
The Spurs players knew the game was over and they switched from top gear, nay third gear, to first gear (or neutral or reverse). They were treating it like a practice match and seeing it out for the 3 points and we could still only muster one shot on target.
Don’t take heart from the second half performance, if Spurs had bothered to play for 90 they probably would have racked up 5 or 6.

This month has been difficult---WTF every month is difficult for God's sake----we need a midfield general to have a chance of staying up, that's why Bullard would have fitted the bill!!!

agree with Whydelilah the game was over at half time and even in the second half they breezed through are non exsistant midfield and to be brutally honest apart from the Beatie goal and Creswell header we created nothing.
