As we stand at the moment..with a goal difference of -18 , and 21 points on the board , what are our chances of survival..
As usual I'll start..
40 % .

atm it doesnt look good does it, any other clubs fans will be looking at the table and thinking mmmmmm newley promoted west brom and stoke are deep in the shit and they will be just picking 1 other team form about 6 clubs.
today i'd say 40% myself as long as we start to play for 3 points away.. 0 wins in 10 games and second from bottom is not somthing to be optomistic about

At this moment in time I would say 30%, if we actually bring in a couple of players who can dictate the play and have some pace maybe 40%

2% for me, I fear we are doomed to relegation.

You'd have to say 35-40% at the moment.

Based on away inept performances,tp quote,
0-5% of survival

I'll go for 25%
We havent won a game since November. With current tactics we have no chance of an away victory & if by a miracle we win every home game we'd have 45 points. That isn't going to happen though.
Harsh maybe but realistic.

Oh well....That's it then.
No bugger thinks we're good enough to avoid the drop.!
Better get your chequebook out Coatesy...before it's too late.

I'd still say 50-60%.
Look at the remaining fixtures: Man City Sunderland Pompey Villa Bolton Everton Boro West Brom Newcastle Blackburn Fulham West Ham Hull Wigan Arsenal
I think we need at least 21 more points. That's seven wins, or six wins and three draws, or five wins and six draws.
We can get them from the home games v. Man City, Pompey, Boro, Newcastle and the away games v. Sunderland, West Brom and Hull.
We simply have to forget yesterday's abysmal performance and focus on the job in hand. 21pts from 15 games.

My glass is distinctly half empty this morning. Yeah we still have a chance, particularly with the run in, but we now need 4 points over and above an average of a point a game to stand any realistic chance and we just don't look capable of getting them I'm afraid.
A gut feeling is that if we had our run in 10 times over we'd only stay up once, which is about 10% in my hungover head!

At the start of the season I thought (and this is the head thinking, not the heart) we had virtually 0-10% chance of survival. Relegation favourites, certainties, as predicted by many.
23 games in and I have been somewhat surprised, we've competed, but we still are struggling to bridge the massive gap. As such, I'd raise it to a 40% chance of survival. Still favourites to go down, but still in with a fighting chance.

25% for me, for once my glass is half empty too. There's optimism and there's lunacy, if we're capable of being as weak as we were first half last night we're simply not good enough for the division and tbh I'm still hanging my head in shame.

I much prefer the factual approach of 21 points needed from 15 games, its going to be tough alright starting on Saturday when perhaps the equation changes 18 points from 14 games

At the moment I'd say 20%, there are loads of other teams still in the mire but we seem to be heading in the wrong direction . If we get new players in and the others don't improve much either then there still a chance. But the away form is going to cost us I think.
