Rudge should retire anyway.
Make Pulis director of football and bring up a manager with some tactics

Director of Football - isn't that like giving the stupid kid a title to make him feel wanted?

The only place to move him, is out of the club.

As long as someone takes him food and drink regularly i think that the loft would be an ideal place for someone who will never see the light!

He needs to go...
completely and with dignity
a shake of the hand from Sir Peter and a nice fat cheque.
Well done Tony..... thanks for everything. See ya.

There is no solution this late in the season. We've made our bed, we now have to lie in it
A new manager would be useless IMO, most of the players Tony has brought in are just not good enough Let's just support him for the last part of the season and cross our fingers.

I don't know, but I do know he spends a lot of time at Trentham Park Golf Club playing rather wankly!

Pulis is too proud and stubborn to even consider it - and as director of football he'd have to travel abroad to look at the Johnny Foreigner playing football - cant ever imagine him being happy doing that!! Best leave him be and just sack the bugger when a suitable time comes around!

That is the idea of a ****, Dave.
What qualities has pulis got to make him a good DoF? English transfer market expertise, that's about it.
Being a good man manager is surely his greatest asset, so surely he would be better suited to coach, or hmm, perhaps manager.
If you are going to bleat about pulis, at least just call for his head without devising some ill-conceived half measure to justify it.

I don't know about upstairs, but I have completely lost any faith in this manager
anyone who is prepared to play Cresswell and Pericard in this league is clearly not up to the standard.
He can't say he hasn't been given a fair crack, he has been well supported by his chairman, he has blown over £15m on useless acquisitions or player's he has been unable to utilise because of his tactical shortcomings, he has shown himself incapable of developing tactics to cope at this level. Coates and the few fans who are still with him are running purely on sentimentality and misplaced loyalty.

i think theres a lot of people with opposing views of TP, but realistically, PC will not get rid, its not the manager we need to change, its the manager who needs to change, will he admit that a lot of the signings HE has made have not worked out, will he admit that perhaps they havent worked out because of his style of play, TP himself needs to evaluate his own performance, and adjust accordingly, i'm sure we would all like to see us play a bit more positive, back to 4 4 2, and start playing a combo of kitson, fuller or beattie up front for a start, this sitting back will only get us relegated, dont give up yet though, theres plenty more points to play for and we havent got a bad run in, as long as we go out to try and WIN games.

I think he has admitted that a lot of his signings were useless by not giving them any time on the pitch, seems to have learned what's required judging by his signings this window. I don't advocate changing our style of play to accomodate individuals (kitson), but you're right in that the side definately needs to evolve or face extinction. I think we have done to an extent, but it's not easy to believe after perfomances like last night.
