I'll be amazed if it isn't Fuller and Beattie for the run-in.
But I've been amazed before

Mama and Beattie against the tougher opposition and more talented centre backs (scare 'em a bit) and either Beattie or Mama with Fuller against West Brom,Hull etc. so Ric can run at 'em.
Kitson out on loan 'cos he needs goals to start getting a proper run of goals and he needs full match fitness to get his first goal and he ain't getting a game with us so ain't gonna get his first goal (if you follow!)
To be honest i think whichever of the two we go for it's only going to work with both Ethers AND Lenny playing to provide crosses (so basically do what TP apparently bought them for!)

Personally I'd like to see Beattie and Kitson or Fuller and Beattie start. I think it would be a backwards step to reintroduce Mama at this stage. Saying that though it looks like TP won't play Ethers and Lawro on the wings together so we may aswell hoof it to Mama.

To be honest i feel that Pulis has brought Beattie in to play the Sidibe role when Sidibie isn't available, difference being Beattie will score a few more. So i can't really see Pulis starting with both Beattie and Sidibe

Mr Hall , at the start of the season I never really expected us to stay up, but I have seen enough of other teams to know if our players were employed in the right places and we had taken advantage of some of the games we have narrowly lost or drawn we could easily be mid-table and almost safe. Unfortunately bizzare signings and tactics and stupid sendings off have cost us and will continue to unless TP realises what is needed to be done. The fans of the Messiah bang on about what a great man manager and motivator he is, but last night our team looked sluggish and devoid of ideas. It's up to the manager to change that and pronto.

RAF i agree mostly but to be fair when it comes to motivation etc. if the players are earning £10s of thousands a week and apparently love playing for Stoke then they shouldn't need the manager to get them up for it. If they aren't up for it alreasy when they're playing in the biggest league in the world then they shoudln't be wearing the badge. Tactics wise you're right TP is sometimes sorely lacking and team selection is a little bizarre to say the least but these guys have been "Professionals" since they were about 12 at various clubs, motivation and pride is one thing they shouldn't have to be taught at this stage in their career.

I think Sidibe could do a job in central midfield, with Fuller and Beattie up front. Or play Kitson in his correct role rather than the Sidibe one.

Maybe a FAB would be better Ben?

i think sidibe would be wasted in midfield and also weaken the central midfield in terms of quality of distribution. Kitson.....i really don't get the appeal at all, sorry!

Ideally I'd like to see Sorro Wilko Shawcross Abdy Higgy Lawro Diao Ethers Beattie Fuller Kitson H No offence, but I think that side would get murdered. Lawrence and Etherington's defensive capacity is pretty much to just stand somewhere near the ball.

RAF..Forget Diao that bloke is money taker for doing very little, the amount of times he pulls up lame is getting a bit pathetic now plus he will need ten games to get up to the fitness required for a premiership midfielder and we aint got the games.
Its a needs must now but the Idiot Pulis still ignores better options or changing things around like pushing Delap in the middle with Faye only if we play which we should do with BOTH WINGERS on the pitch and TWO STRIKERS ie Beattie Fuller or else we are certs to go down with the current crop of shit with a slow Delap not getting up and down the flank and Fuckin Cresswell which is seriously worrying me now how this prick keeps being picked.

RAF, mate, that team would either win 4-0 or lose 4-0, no inbetween. It would be like Ardiles' time as Spurs manager!
BTW Wilko will not be a Premiership standard full back whilst he still has a hole in his arse. Nice lad, mind, and a Stokie - so are lots of us but I wouldn't want any of us as Stoke right back in the Premiership.
We don't need to get too complicated, just play two wingers (Lawrence and Etherington) and two strikers (Fuller and Beattie) in a standard 4-4-2 and our results will improve.
