at what point do you say, Tony has gone as far as he can, enough is enough?
Before the end of the season if we havent won away come March and the tactics/players havent changed (and we're still in the bottom 3)? If we get relegated? If we go down and then have a bad start to next season? If we do ok in the Championship but dont come back up at the first attempt?
Im curious, I want Tony to do well but as the old saying goes, no player is bigger than the club so this must apply to any member of staff surely? If players can come in for criticism from all sections of the support, then this applies to management at some point?

If we go down the only manager I'd trust to get us back up is TP.
Lou macari Alan ball Gudjon Thordasson Bosclown Chris Kamara Dave kevan Joe jordan gary Megson Brian Little etc etc etc have never got us to the promised land TP has!
Some sad saps on here were slagging TP off before his first match and do so after every defeat. Their egos won't let them admit they were wrong and TP was and is one of our greatest ever managers.
IN my lifetime Waddo Durban and TP are head and shoulders above the dozens and dozens of also rans we've had. If TP left us now it could be another two or three decades before we get so lucky again!

The answer is simple mate. he has deserved his opportunity (despite the negative bastards willing him not to get us promoted) and he has kept us in touch with established Premiership clubs.
The question is for you though. Who the fuck do you suggest?
Dowie, Holloway, Newall. I recall these names being suggested as a repalacement for Pulis last year. Where are they now?
A realist would accept it was always going to be difficult this year and its that finely balanced that if we win on Saturday all will be well again

If we go down and then have a bad start to next season? Thats my answer simple as. So for now just enjoy the fact we are higher than we ever have been in my lifetime (23 year season ticket holder) and the man which took us up deserves this season no matter what. You tell me how any other manager (and we have had a few, lots) could not do what Pulis has done?? When you can tell me HOW we could do better then you deserve to be Stoke manager

like it or not - tjanks to TP we are getting 27500 crowds every home game and has put this club and city back on the map again.
desreves untill the end of season at least - TP always said this club had potential and he was right.
if tp was to be replaced at the end of the season if we were relegated it would have to be one hell of a good replacement.
