Bloody Hell ... You'd think we'd lost to the Vale ...
Look at the players we were up against. Defoe, Woodgate, Cudicini, Bentley, Lennon, Modric ....
We couldn't get players like that in our wildest dreams. They are above our level at the moment and it showed tonight.
I'm as gutted as anyone especially with the way we gave the goals away but we are not in the Championship and we do NOT have the quality of sides like Spurs.
I agree that TP's selection was not good but he's the manager and he picks the team. I'm not his greatest fan but with a few wins we can go up the table.
Let's not all slash our wrists just yet.

I'm not a wrist slasher by any means, I've been having a go at people on here all night for being wankers, but we made them look good mate.

Spot on, they are a bloody good team and changing a lot ! Can't judge them on their position they will be well up the league.

Being brutally honest and realistic how many of the Stoke players would have got in that Spurs team tonight? Not many maybe just Shawcross on that showing.

i wish people would stop saying Tottenham are a good side. They r not because before tonight they hadnt won in 6 and were also low on confidence.

How can you say they are not a good side when they are a team of internationals ? They will be well up the table before too long as quality tends to rise.

Rubbish. We made them look good. They were poor when they came up here and there is no doubt that harry has sorted them out but they are still a team we could have beat.

true spurs are a decent side on paper. i felt there was always something in this fixture for us but a combination of bad defending and opportunistic attacking let them win it in half hour. i was happy however with how we keep our chins up and got stuck in again in the second half to keep them out and beattie to start his prolific form of a goal every game until the end of the season.

I wouldn't say that they were too good, it was more of a case of us being too cack.

When on form, and on their own patch, that Tottenham team would beat us 9 times out of 10, as would a great number of teams in this league, imho. We need to keep the home performances up and need a result on Saturday to lift some spirits. I wouldn't write us off just yet

We make every team look good away from home. Its getting embarrasing & will no doubt be the reason for our short stay in this league.
I wonder when TP will finally realise his negative tactics aren't working. We may as well put out an attacking team because we can't get any fewer points than we currently have.
