I came past about 3.30 heading north and it was closed near to Newport Pagnall while they pushed a car out of the way.

Text them back and tell them to get off at 16, head towards Daventry, then head down the A5 towards Milton Keynes and back to the motorway...............if possible, of course The A5 runs parrallel with the M1 all the way down that stretch and as far as through to St Albans

bogus is spot-on, did the same myself once. Will be heavy with traffic but those on the M1 have no hope of getting there to see the game.

Due to safety reasons, not traffic problems. Err NO, SSN just confirmed "Due to traffic problems on M6" (probably a load of mankers with dicky satnavs lost in Brum !)

Me and my mates got off our coach on the motorway and walked back up the slip road, finding a pub a couple of mile down the road just off a dual carriage way on the edge of Northampton. Once in the pub we got ourselves beers and got the taxis ordered for the train station, the lot in the second taxi went straight to Spurs while we stuck with the plan and got the train. Got the match at half time, at least we got to see Beattie's first goal for us. Our coach did make it the game and before us who left it stranded on the motorway, so luckily for us we had our transport home still! The things you do hey get a footy match....

Seen as we were supposed have sold out, their were a lot of empty seats in the top tier, top right hand corner.
Anyone see the arguing amongst stoke fans around this area just before half time??

When I finally made it I was in the bottom tier and it was packed out. Loving the twitching songs, great atmosphere considering the game was already over before I even got into the ground.
