I guess we could find out more when Dalton's agent friend returns today from Dubai. If we have bid £5M for M'Bami as has been suggested, have we either accepted Ledley is going to choose elsewhere, or are we trying to force him to move asap.
Either way, TP can't afford to wait to long again, it's either sign or move on

5 mill?
It said he was valued at about 500,000 in the paper this morning. His contract is up in 6 months. Can't believe that price is anywhere near as until last week i'd never heard of him. Heskey had 6 months left and is a well-valued player in his team, regular international and he only went for 3.5. Bit weird methinks ;D

I have seen him briefly on the few occasions we have played Cardiff, and from what i remember he mainly played on the left.
What kind of player is he, is he creative, a good passer, and whats his work ethic like, we need someone to fit straight in and settle into the side!
The figures quoted about are very high, is he worth it?

If it really is a straight choice between us and Wet Sham, and I was a betting man, I think he'll go to East London. I have no inside info whatsoever, just purely speculating. I'd like to see him come to us (I think!) but I hope that if TP can't land his man then there's a more than adequate alternative in the pipeline (cue M'Bami?)

now if koumas is a c lister then our c list has gone up in quality. Not saying he's a world beater but i think he could do a really good job for us.

I think he's likely to choose pretty much any other Premiership side (with maybe the exception of Brazil) in a straight choice.

If we ever were to sign Koumas, then I think that Tony would look to play him out wide on the right possibly, or as a 5 man midfield, he would almost certainly not play in the middle. He would be competing with Liam and Matty for the wide positions.

i remember when chris commons left stoke.not once in any interveiw did he ever say thats it, i'm off! maybe young ledley is doing the same?
whether he signs for stoke or whu (or anyone or no one else),we will soon know. within 8 days no doubt.
you can rattle your brains as much as you like, will he come, wont he come, but basicaly, no one really knows do they.
that goes for the other rumours as well.i dont know if they are true or not.dont get me wrong, i love reading them. but out of every 100,only a very few come off.not saying SOME people deliberately post lies, just that most dont ever happen.
but i do give more cred to some peoples rumours than others.
sorry to talk "transfer rumours" on a "ledley" thread, but a rumours a rumour really, but wotaweek we have install!!

Re West Ham being skint- they just got £14m for Bellamy and his wages off the books. True but as WH are in a financial meltdown, there's no guarantee that any of thet money will go towards players. Besides, Ledley is hardly a straight replacement for the chav is he?

Well at least it shouldnt be a last minute thing as Cardiff turned us down in the last window due to them not having enough time to get a replacement so I cant see it being deadline day. I would imagine it has to be sorted this week.

well Ridsdale said this afternoon on Talksport that he met with Ledley on Thursday and that he is going nowhere - will be reviewed in the summer .
Given that Ridsdale is an utter wanker and Talksport are a shithouse outfit .. make of that what you will...
