I like it here in the Premeirship, it's comfy I have my slippers on and want to stay. I don't want to go back to the dark Championship it's cold and smells of wee Seriously, I don't know if I can cope with the media obscurity, should we go down. It's great being talked about and having decent players linked. Don't think we will go down though.

Also I'm loving that 'us big clubs' can pinch players of 'small' clubs like Sheff Utd

and having every team give us the "premiership your having a laff" lol "Premier League, you're having a laugh" is exactly what I think about this division. Overhyped and very average in many ways. But I'm hoping for a massive 'staying up' party.

I'd be sick to my stomach. Not because we'd been relegated, but because the championship stinks. Plymouth away on a tuesday night, no fucking thank you.

Now we've tasted the high life it really would be a sickener if we were to return to The Championship. It's nice for my neigbours to finally know who I'm on about. They all follow the mighty Potters and many come to the local bar to watch when we're on live. Come on Tony, pull your socks up and lets get these lads motivated, we've got enough skill and workmen in the team for us to do it.

Just before the old Wembley closed, I took my family on one of the official tours. As a part of the tour you used to sit in the dressing room and then lead out up the tunnel as a team would on match day. The tour guide split the group we were in (about 30 people) into two halves and chose a team captains. My youngest son was chosen as the captain of our team. As the two teams lined up in the tunnel, the captains were asked which football club their team was from. 'ManU' said the little glory hunter on the other side of the tunnel. There was much murmuring of approval. Then it was my son's turn. Stoke City said he and there was a stunned silence followed by the tour guide saying 'who are they?'. She then suggested he change to a 'proper' football team. Amazingly, we were the only people in the group who had heard of Stoke.
I bet they've heard of us now?
You'll be pleased to know, my lad stuck to his guns and led his Stoke City out of the Wembley tunnel that day. They then had a little quiz between the captains to see who would go up to the royal box and lift the trophy. Of course a Stokie is going to know a lot more than a glory hunter and we walked up the 39 steps to receive a replica FA Cup off the tour guide.
For many years, I had despaired that we would never return to the top table of football. Now we are here, I want us to stay for 23 years at least, to erase all of those dreadful memories.
That is not too much to ask is it?
