Just wondering if anyone could explain the preference system for me.
I'm a stokie based in Birmingham and was hoping to go to the Villa and West Brom away games. Haven't been away with Stoke since we've been in the Prem so what's the likelihood of getting a ticket?

Also I'm not a season ticket holder which I expect reduces my chances dramatically?

I'd start planning to get tickets in the home ends.

you just have to wait for the remaining tickets to go on general sale, or maybe if they sell out you can ring and ask to be put on the retained list in case any tickets are returned.

as far as i'm aware... it goes... ...season ticket holders who have been to more than 5 away games ... ....then season ticket holders... .....then general sale. so for most games, you will have to get to the box office when it opens on the first day of general sale to stand much of a chance

Cheers lads, will take my chances I think, I can walk to Villa Park in 10 minutes!
Just a note to any Stoke fans Villa always have ticket deals on at the moment because they don't fill the ground so if anybody was REALLY desperate for a ticket then that's an option.

Have many / any away games gone on general sale?

I would think you would struggle to get one as I'd really hope demand to be high, although perhaps you may have a chance at the Baggies I guess (not like we haven't been their plenty in the past.) Good luck.

The less popular games or those with large allocations have gone on general sale. Wigan, Middlesborough and I think, Newcastle went on general sale and possibly some others.
The priority is different for each game depending upon the expected popularity. ie. you have to be a season ticket holder and have been to a bigger percentage of away games to get first dibs for ManU than for Newcastle.
