I read some ratings yesterday (in the Times) and they were so biased it was untrue. If anyone can put a list of them up, I'm sure it would piss alot of people off!
Nice to see three Stokies in that team of the week- fully deserved!

re: times ratings, I think you can put your own ratings in for the players if you go online on sunday morning. Clearly there are a lot of confused Chelsea fans who have never been to a football match before.

Eddy- I was so impressed with Etherington on Saturday.
I couldn't really understand why he was man of the match against Liverpool but against Chelsea he proved why we have signed him. He took the pressure off our back four with his forward runs (which resulted in quite a few corners) and he looked a genuine threat.
I also liked the way Pulis had instructed him to stay on the half way line when we were defending corners. How long has this been an issue with Stoke?!! At last- some common sense!!

I thought Lampard was impressive and showed how much better he is than Gerrard.

the only thing i would disagree with is brunt, complete fluke for their 1st goal(baggies that is), and their 2nd was a fluke as well. if we had their luck we would be at least nine points clear of them.

Liked the comment about Lampard: "Even took to getting his team-mates to deflect his shots in." ;D

Great to see those 3 in the team.
I do agree with some papers about Lampard though, especially after they went 1-0 down I thought he was their best player. Seemed to take the game by the scruff of the neck, like Beckham against Greece, and seemed like their own player who was really interested in getting them back into the game.
