Bill Bratt has publicly said he's tried to contact Sinnot, Why? to settle his contract up? If the Vale board had decided Sinnot was no longer good enough to manage their club then he is entitled to his contract paying up, also wouldn't Sinnot be liable to pay a higher income tax rate because he has two sources of income if he is still paid monthly by Port Vale.

Not harsh at all, I go on to of once a week to see how the other half live so to speak and the pure hatred and venomous bile thrown our way is unbelievable, Long may their fall from grace continue while we sip champagne and they sup mild. See what you want to see. Plenty of fair comments go your way youth, unlike the c*nts on here wanting the Vale go under even though you don't give a shit about us and it's embarrassing having a "rival" in League 2. Of course. Wernt the Vale wishing the same on Stoke when we bought the Brit? Regardless, I actually like the minority of Vale fans that come on here to wish stoke luck and have a bit of a banter. I'd wish the vale well as it can only be good for the city and I used to love the local derby days. Last time i remember playing them was at the Brit, and vale park before that bout 1997/98? You need Mccarthy and Guppy back!

Personally I think it is really sad when a football team goes into administration and then gets a wind up order and they disappear. I dont care for Vale, but too see them go under would be a travesty for football. It always happens to the smaller clubs cause they are poorly run and try to do business beyond their means to satisfy fans.
In the case of Sinnot if he is owed compensation then he should be paid, the same as if we were made redundant we expect comepnsation regardless if we got another job or not. The compensation helps illeviate the stress of lossing your job and the service you gave that company.
Tbh if anyone of us got made redundant tomorrow and were promised a redundancy package and then told you cannot have it because you have got a new job we too would be pissed off. Sinnot deserves his money whether he was crap or not they gave him a contract he had a clause to be paid off if it went wrong so Vale pay up

OVF say that the payout would force them into admin: www.onevalefan.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=37199So deduct 10 points off this season and they'd be joint third bottom on current points, above the two other deductees, meaning they'd survive the drop this season. Assuming they live long enough to play next season starting on -17 points (and that nobody else goes into admin in between) that'd surely mean the end of them?

I'm not sure of the intricacies and how it would work season on season, but I do know the BS don't accept clubs in admin so we'd be instantly in the brown stuff if we copped enough to land us in major trouble. I don't think we'll hit that point though, Vale must be one of the few lower league clubs who actually live within their means. Money is tight but I guess things can swing either way really. Luton and co are fucking idiots who deserve what they get, you can't go around paying people 3-5 grand a week in the leagues they're in thinking promotion is inevitable.

It's a funny one - if I got fired from working in the City because I made loads of crap decisions and cost them a load of money, I'd get a settlement package, but nothing like the value of my contract. Seems strange that some no-hoper like Sinnott gets to receive the total value of his contract, regardless of his performance. Can anyone explain? It's the pure greed and lack of loyalty that surrounds football players and managers when negotiating contracts, the only people who are loyal are the fans, well apart from GHB's and they are not real people
