I can believe that. It'll be more if we go down.

people just can't afford it. the cost of travelling/parking/food/drink makes it a lot more than the face value of a season ticket
hard times ahead

Having been made redundant in November I haven't a hope of being there next season unless I can get work from somewhere. £8 an hour agency work isn't going to support my family and pay for tickets

Even though we've got some of the cheapest tickets in the Prem I think at the very least the club should freeze prices and at best make a 10% cut to season tickets. Stoke on Trent has taken another kicking on the jobs front, even people who have managed to hang on to their jobs are either working reduced hours or can't guarantee they'll still be working come the start of next season. It's time to reintroduce standing behind the goals with prices @ £10 adults and £1 for kids.

Hard times are here and not likely to change I've just been made redundant and living away from Stoke its expensive enough already its going to get harder. mark 71scfc makes good points reintroducing standing would be great, back to the vic days we might get a moat again as well

Its very grim out there for a lot of people and i can believe these statistics, however in our case i would think we would lose a lot of the supporters(for want of a better word!) we seem to have gathered since promotion if we went down,

Of course 83.5% of all statistics are made up on the spot.

I almost certainly won't be renewing, at the minute I'm hawking it out to friends and family as I just can't afford to travel up, and actually work on a saturday instead, so I earn money instead of spending it.
Something had to give with me going back to uni part-time, working part-time, and sadly its been the football . So unless i have a serious change in circumstances, or can get assurnaces of friends and family they will buy games off me, I just can't justify it, and thats if the prices stay at current levels (I paid £344)

Football will be hit hard and hit very hard next season imo. This season I buckled and have gone to all the away games (can't go to Tottenham though )but next year the chances of me doing that will be slim to non existant though my season ticket isn't in any danger! I hope this bloody recession will break the money madness in football and priices will come tumbling down but I won't hold my breath

There bollox.
Not everyone with ST's has been asked.
I haven't been asked, so that's definatley not all!
I best they've asked 10 people from each club!

It is true everybody is having to think about going to games as it just is not a luxury everyone can afford. I had to duck out of Blackburn away a game I really wanted to go as I had no work at the time. I have work until May at the moment but if they put the ST prices up I am afraid I may not be there next season
