I'm struggling to decide whether throwing my remote control against the wall as Lampard's goal went in was 'denial' or 'anger' ;D
Yeah, I'm stuck at 4 too.

You're probably right. Sounds like I skipped denial altogether. Either that, or it was quite short-lived.... Can any stage fivers explain how they made the jump from 4? I'm aiming to get there by about Tuesday afternoon.............

Just coming out of 4, stepping into 5 after really looking at the table and how bloody tight it is and the looking at the teams around us games ahead compared to ours .
Need 2 more good players still though.
A good signing this week will push me fully into 5
Gooaaarrrrrrrrrnnnnnn

I seemed to skip denial and anger. And have been stuck at 4 for the last 27 or so hours.

I'll get to 5 when we beat Spurs, in fact no i won't, it's one of teh only way games I'm going to miss so it would be my luck we'd win that one. So when we beat City I'll accept it ;D I think my dad is still at stage 4 from the 71 and 72 cup semi finals

I was 11-12 when those semi finals were played - now they really are something I'll never accept.

I'd nearly forgotten the feelings after '71 & '72. Who has just brought them back then?

Here's a few names just to take your mind off the pain of yesterday: Charlie George, Peter Storey, John Radford, George Armstrong and good old Bob Wilson! Mind you, most of them played when we dicked em 5-0!
