Ok I'm over yesterday it happens in footy. What did get my goat was Kitson. Having watched the first over I have to say I'm less than impressed with his contribution. Considering all the work the boys had put in I thought it was criminal he let Belleti "wander" away from him for the first goal. and ps. I'm still a Kitson fan (albeit slightly less than I was)

Kitson is no means a defender so why he brought him on instead of oli or Sonko ill never know

we had oli sonko and lawrence on the bench, surely they were a better option to bring on rather than put a fucking striker on the wing!!!! pulis doesnt help himself at times

Actually Belleti ran from right back completely unchecked so if we're finger pointing it should be in the direction of Cresswell who by then was left wing. However, look at it again 2 Stoke players Whelan and I think Shawcross let him wander straight past them to the back post. I don't think its fair to single Kitson out as he's an out and out striker not a centre half. Surely at that time a defensive midfielder would have been the order of the day not a "fish out of water" barely fit striker.

You obviously missed who blocked the shot that rebounded to Lampard when he scored.
Guess Kitson was at fault for that one too ! ..... shakes head in disbelief

I just wonder why he was so keen to get the cross in rather than just keeping hold of possesion in there corner?

Unfortunate result--don't start blaming folk---Chelski missed a hatful of chances----under pressure we played well-----Kitson came on to hold the ball up, no blame attached to him. get over it and jog on.

Hmm, Kitson's normally been one of the best strikers I've seen for tracking back and not only defending but doing it intelligently.

DO NOT BLAME SHAWCROSS,IT WAS WILKINSON,NO GOOD AT THIS LEVEL,NO MATTER HOW MUCH HEART HE HAS GOT,JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO CUT THE MUSTARD. And yes the capitals were needed for that ! P.s. Who cuts mustard ???

Every goal that goes in has to have an element of blame to it whether it's Man U,stoke or bloody accrington stanley to start pointing fingers is daft, every player deserves a pat on the back for yesterday.

Just have a look at the second goal, Kitson and Wilko were dying for the cause, throwing themselves in front of the ball.

Everyone tried to block the shots in the whole game and nearly 5 people dived at Lampard for the second goal...However Kitson can't be blamed for anything, he didn't do much wrong and didn't have the chances to win game......

just making an observation, thats we do as footy fans you dix.
geez some people get a grip and stop looking through Kitson tinted glasses.
for the record (again) I like Kitson and would love to see him notch a few. But on this ocassion he screwed up > which for him is unusual and slightly concerning.

A bit hard to blame anyone for anything - we came within minuuesn of beating one of the best teams in the world - and they desperately needed the points too
I was screaming at Pugh to release the ball before he lost it resulting in Whelans foul
...and who was marking young de Santos who headed the ball back across for the first goal
etc etc
That was a magnificent performance and if we can hit that level for most of the games left then we will stay up for certain
