I think that we will just about.
Then who will be out the door of the players on display yesterday:-
Wilkinson Griffin Cresswell, are all not good enough coupled with Dickinson.tonge and possibly Soares thats 6 players who have all played parts in the season so far.
Then we have Cort ,Sonko who i don't think are good enough but maybe OK as back up,thats 8 players who we could ship out, again these 2 have played a part this season.
The question is will Tone see this and get rid or will keep a substandard squad. If we do stay up then we have "push on" and try to break in to the top half of the bottom half of the division if that makes sense.

I think Wilko is playing very well against very very good opposition. Fully justified in being offered a contact extension, which seem a departure unlikely.

The thing is Monkeycat with Wilko and Dicko for that matter they are 110% full blooded die for the cause, bleed red and white stripes and their commitment is second to none(which is more than i can say for some how the hell could i forget Pericard when i compiled my list). Do you really think that if we have aspirations of staying in and pushing on in the prem that they are good enough?

As stated on another thread, he needs to work on his distribution, and he is not the finished article, but he definately can compete in this league. Dicko not ready YET, going on loan a good move

We need a squad. That includes players who might not play all season, but are prepared to train properly, encourage the others in the dressing room and most importantly do a job when called upon, often out of position.
Now I might be over simplifying things here, but I can't see many players wanting to join on that footing. Reserve players tend to be those displaced by new signings or young players coming through. Until more signings are made who walk into the first team, our current reserves will remain our reserves, now matter how poor they might be.

Wilko is all over the place under pressure, not good enough for PL. But he's got a big heart, so love him as a squad player.

I would certainly not see a problem with a more experienced player playing at RB but, I would not get rid of Wilko, an excellent squad player who kept Ronaldo and Riera quiet (admittedly, ultimately losing his head against that slimy cheat)
