When he flew in the crowd,, grabbed that ball off that supporter shrugged off the chelski dickhead who gave him a load of verbal and just stepped over them MASSIVE advert boards
;D WHAT A LEGEND HE IS MAKING HIMSELF.

It made me laugh how the Chelsea fans who gave him the verbal stayed well out of the way of him while they did it. The people closest too him just stayed quiet and let Abdoulaye go where he wanted to.
When the people parted and he stepped through and over the advertising board it reminded me of Godzilla.

If he'd carried on running at full pelt, he would have dislodged that stand.

My all time favourite Stoke players are all midfielders and forwards but this guy is right up there already. Not just his strength, his positioning and his cool head on the ball but he just seems like a top top pro and a lovely bloke to go with it. If Shawcross can't learn big time from Abdy then he's never going to learn. Legend already in my eyes

He's fast becoming an absolute hero. Clever player and exceptionally powerful. One of the bargains of the season.

i still think he was a bit dumb though throwing them the ball whilst he was out of position they took a quick throw we were all over the place at back and lampard scores he could have stayed down and faked injury

As for faking injury, where? When he was off the pitch? Think about it eh fella

If he stays with us for a few yrs, he could very well go down as an all time legend. I hope he does.

TJStone, he had to give them the ball back quickly, as that ref would defo have booked him, and that would have been his 5th booking of the season and meant he would have missed the Spurs game.

"Immense" seems to be the popular word lately, but I totally agree as he truly was immense yesterday. He was cool as a cucumber when under pressure.

he could have stayed down and faked injury Never. Never would abdoulaye PRETEND to be hurt. I think the world would collapse in on itself if he did.

He had a fantastic game yesterday....AGAIN If Shawcross keeps feeding off his displays and keeps giving his own great performances, that back pair will be the best !!

Best centre half I've seen at Stoke in my lifetime, Overson and the Cransons of this world were great..but it makes me laugh when you try and compare them with this guy....he's faultless..I can't believe Castle let this guy go.
