Well seeing as he came out on Friday (its only Sunday) and said he was considering an offer from us, coupled with the fact that we played a game yesterday and the lads are now in Dubai, i reckon we would probably hear something this week or when ever they get back. Just be patient, give it a few days and see what happens.

Surely this is a smokescreen to hide our true targets.
Signing Fred would be a gamble. Yes he is a genuinely quality player and he could be the new Hudson who provides the catalyst for some good results. However, I remember Bradford and Middlesboro signing a fancy player and it all resulted in tears.
One liittle thing if he signs, where will he play - in the Mama role or the lone striker? Please don't come up with any Football Manager formations. We play Plan A, always Plan A and we should start to recognise this simple fact.

He'd replace Fuller obviously , as Fuller is on his way

No he's in Dubai, he'll get his free holiday (I mean training) in first

Heard a whisper Fred was at the game yesterday although that could just be bullsh!t.... not seen any proof.
To be honest if he did come, now we have Beattie I wouldn't be too sad if Ric did leave..

Pulis wants to use Fuller as his impact player, he's going nowhere this season.

sign Fred, that leaves us with him Mama,Fuller,Kitson,Beattie...and surely that must be the end of Cresswell and Pericard?
I hope Cresswell gets a good deal at championship club where his efforts would be worthwhile because in this league a headless chicken that he is will not score us goals or even create them.

Cresswell was absolutely superb again yesterday. We have brought in Tonge and Soares and neither is a patch on him. He is simply a squad player. If all goes well he wont need to play again this season. However, it is good knowing that when called on he will give 100%, show passion, have the discipline to play the role and will do all this without moaning. If he had more quality he would be a regular somewhere in the Prem. We need Cresswell until there are others who are as good as him. He looked inconsolable at the final whistle yesterday. 12 months ago there were those who hurled abuse at anyone who thought Mama should be anywhere near the team. They wanted Gallagher to play. I'm sure you weren't one of these people Jarhead.

Even Beattie got pissed off with him towards the end as beattie was attempting passes and cresser would be running off in a opposite direction with no clue where the ball was.

I heard Fred's got it down to a shortlist of two houses in Trentham, he just has to make his mind up which and it's in the bag. ;D
