both on the bench to start with, certainly fuller, would like to see lawrence start with delap moving to central midfield but doubt it

should start or will?
fuller will, lawrence should but I don't think he will.
Assuming no-one else signs and all are fit, I'd go with
sorro
wilko shawcross faye higgy/griff
lawrence delap faye/diao etherington
fuller BT

Kitson and Beattie up front, with Ethers and Lawrence on the wings
Fuller on the bench in case we need to add a 5th or 6th goal late on

Fuller for sure but don't think TP will play Lawro. Falling out with TP is not the best career move at Stoke! Think he will be sold and a right winger will be sought after. Shame really but he got too big for his boots and is paying the penalty. Also, not ,issing him as he certainly hasn't shone like last year in this league!

Both should. But dont think any of them will. Fuller come on about 70mins, and lawrence none.

Some people seem convinced that neither will be at the club much longer!
I'm confused, what is really going on?

Dave you are being very mysterious this morning. Is this a hunch or do you know more than you should do?

Keep Fuller on the bench, go 60 mins 0-0 then bring Ricci on to add some pace and skill.

Play your best 11 - but TP hasn't done that in the 5 or whatever years he has been at Stoke

Now i could cope with Diao Faye in the middle holding if we play with the two wingers and Beattie and Kits up top.
But will he ever play 4-4-2 instead of this 4-4-1-----1 bollox away that does not work?

When Fred signs Fuller will have to make way for him. You can only have one lazy, arrogant playe in the team no matter how good they are and now that we have Fred who is better than Fuller, Fuller will be the one to make room.

Kitson and Beattie up front, with Ethers and Lawrence on the wings Fuller on the bench in case we need to add a 5th or 6th goal late on Not sure about the 5th or 6th goal Dave But this would get us goals and get u points, We saw Ethers yesterday that run from out box, quite late on that won us a corner, if we had some on (AKA Lawrence to that on the other wing we would be laughing. Beattie is as good as Mama holding th ball up, but from what we saw of BT yesterday, he is more attack minded in laying people in...delaps goal Kitson ill thrive of this, and having decent balls fed into the box from wingers...where Fuller makes his own goal...he wont be able do this with wingers trying to supply the front two of kits and beats. We've seen at Newcastle away, WBA at home. Wolves away last season, how good Fuller is coming of the bench...we wont see him strolling back onside cus he's fucked....and I don't blame him for been fucked he's got bad knees and he does run his bollox off... but he's more effective coming off the bench...whether he's happy with that is a different story

I hear the Fuller impact sub argument and the Kitson will thrive with wingers argument.
But isn't it inconceivable that Pulis would pick Kitson ahead of a fit Fuller?
I just can't see it at all.
In fact, I'd be surprised if Kitson made many starts between now and May, especially if we see another striker arrive in the next fortnight.

When Fuller's fit, he should play from the start for mine.
His ability to run with the ball relieves pressure on the back 8 away from home, and his ability to produce a bit of magic can unlock defences at home.

Surely we have another lone striker lined up to buy. The last month has shown how woefully short of depth we are up front.

You play your best players at this level
Fuller is our best player, our top scorer, why in the world would you have him on the bench ???

Would start Lenny, but leave Fuller on the bench bring him about 60-65 minutes add abit of skill and pace.
