...and had a few blissfully unaware seconds before you remembered yesterday's match and felt absolutely gutted all over again.

Yup, but I have my final uni exams on monday morning, so I was first hit the 7am alarm dissapointment, then with Stoke dissapointment, then with the reality that I have to read about 400 pages of academia today on a subject which is dross.

Still got the memories of probably a top-five mental when Rory's goal went in (all-seater stadium category).

No, actually.
Perhaps it comes from 40 years of experience as a Stoke fan, but it's yet another philosophical shrug and look forward to the next game. There has been enough in the last two games to show that we have every cause to be optimistic.

There has been enough in the last two games to show that we have every cause to be optimistic. I agree, it still hurts so badly though. How we can go from everything to absolutely nothing in such a short space of time.

There isnt a game next weekend to get it out of the system which is annoying
Funny - I too have been a Stokie for 40 years but I am 'feeling' this season more than I expected - It just seems that we finally have a chance to serve notice that Stoke are back, to correct some injustices and put one over the 'luvvies' that have taken over our game.

ME ! I went for a nice walk in the park with the Mrs & twins and it left my mind. Got home and walked in the house and felt a bit better and then looked at the carpet and i had trodden in a massive pile of dog shite ! This cancelled my nice walk and the feelings of yesterday came flooding back

Me, until I recalled that even Lawro (MOTD) had said how that Stoke City were exellent and, in case I forgot that, Kammy then said that we were brilliant.
