I can not believe some of the ridicules money been offered for forwards during this transfer window. 12 million for Kenwyn Jones, Bent on offer for 9 or 10 million, Bellemy is probably the best one on show but he will end up costing a club 15 million and I after say he is a bit of a crock. Lets take a look at Jones, He isn't what you call a prolific goal scorer is he? He isn't in the same class as Ian Rush, Andy Cole, Robbie Fowler and Micheal Owen once were. Not one side in this Premier division have what we would call an out and out prolific striker in their teams. And what really is worrying is who is going to be the main threat for England during the world cup? Apart from that lad who plays for Villa I can't think of one

Well it pains me to say, against some of the other forward on offer it seems like Mr Pulis has got a bit of a bargain. That Bent is toss.
PS someone said to me today that we are interested in a player called Fred can any of you throw any light on this?

During this false economy which is inflating the price off attacking players beyond belief I believe that even big Vince would command a fee of say £20,000!

Not a bad strike force. Owen might be injury free by then too.

The money is ridiculous, shows how shrewd Tony has been with Beattie to be honest!
£14 for Palacios (I know he isn't a striker) is also ridiculous, good player but not £14m good!
It seems managers are willing to pay over the odds just to get bodies in and keep the fans happy, I'm delighted we aren't willing to do that!
