Santa Cruz...Bid turned down
Bellamy...Bid turned down
Parker...Bid turned down
Kaka...player turned down
Are players and clubs turning Man City down on purpose as "respect" to football. As if to say we don't agree with you trying buy the title and publicaly saying you dont care how much you spend, 'Cus' let's be fair they are making a mochary of football, if this is the case it shos that maybe football isn't all about the money and theirs some 'passion still there.
Or is it eerly the case that players and clubs know they have an unlimited amount of money to spend so they are trying to get the highest amount of money as possible??

They are just after the money, nothing else.
However I can see Kaka setting something of a precedent if he does sign, if he puts in a clause in his contract that e can leave if they are not in the Champions league after two years, this could royally stuff them up if all players did this.

...or maybe every club knows that man city have got endless money and they can always bid higher. So everybody turns down the first bid at least.

They aren't going Citeh because they want to go to a bigger club. BUT as soon as they realise Citeh can outspend anyone on wages and they get one big name others will follow. When the big names come along they'll need a trophy or two. I reckon at the end of the season Hughes will be quietly sacked and Mourinho will replace him.

I think Kaka isn't entirely money motivated. Doesn't he want to become a priest when he's finished in football?

Kaka's faith is very important to him. He leads a life of Christian values. Apparently he was a virgin until the first time he had sex.
