Anyone been watching this on BBC3. Basically what it is they get 9 people, usually they have a couple of Veggies, animal right activist etc, and they go out and kill an animal, tonight happened to be Rabbits and then they go through the fall rocess of killing it to eating it...it's quite good, a very interesting watch.
I mean I ahve no problem with eating meat we've been doing it aince the start of the world aint we? I just can't understand the "I love animals so they shouldn't be killed" I love animals too, but I like me fucking food...part of a balanced diet, meat is!
There people saying they should eb arrested for murder and things like that. it's fucking ridiculous

I know, it's a bit of a joke. We're top of the fucking food chain, we should put it to good use! ;D
To quote the great John Cleese... "If God didn't want us to eat animals, then he wouldn't have made them out of meat".

One of my favorite things in life is to winding up veggies...
Now I like eating meat as I'm a carnivore and thats what I'm supposed to do, but the majority of cabbage-worriers will always trot out the 'I don't think you should eat any animal unless you'd be prepared to kill it yourself'...
If you respond to this by graphically describing how you would go about punching a cow to death and then cooking it using only Happy-Shopper Value Firelighters, make sure that you're in your own house as you may be asked to leave...

They can get quite uppity those Steak-avoiders y'know.
Mind you, I'd be pissed off if I'd taken a moral stance which meant that I had to pretend to like Tofu,

where do they get some of the pricks that are on Kill it, Cook it, Eat it.
Didn't see the Rabbit episode but have seen the programme a few times before. They normally start crying when the animal is being prepared after it's dead not when it's being killed. The people on the show really piss me off. If the animal is killed quickly and by causing it the least stress possible then what is the problem?
and on another note, why do veggies eat fish? It gets pulled out of the sea in a bloody big net with hundreds of other fish and sufercates to death on the ships deck. Obviously not a nice way to die.
A lamb on the other hand gets an electric shock and has a painless death. So why eat fish and not other meat?

My mum's one of "them veggies who eat fish". She reckons its morally okay because the fish is wild and has had a good life before being sportingly caught as opposed to being raised specifically to be slaughtered. I reckon that's a load of shite, the fish has had a crap life in the wild, trying to stay alive getting on with the minimal food it's able to cadge, before, as you say, being scooped up with hundreds of others and being suffocated.
"Meat" on the other hand, is raised in the best of circumstances, and unless it's butchered (in the most evil "Halal" way, fucking backward idea), has a great life and doesn't even know it's dying.

And they were talking about Rabbits over populating the country...37million of them apparently.
And the conversation of it's legal for farmers to kill rabbits to protect the crops. and they asked here how she thinks they should cope with it, if killing isn't the answer...her reply..... let one of them science people think of something...Brillinat!!!!
