Cant believe the amount of people being negative about Kitson. Ok, he hasn't got going yet and his confidence is probably at its lowest of his career, but I remember everyone slagging Mama, even now Mama hasn't scored hardly anything, yet now we all love the guy to bits and realise how important he is to our team. I think that the guy will come good if we all keep giving the guy the kind of support he got on Sat against Liverpool. I don't think anyone, even his strongest critics, could deny the guys effort on the pitch. Perhaps he has been played out of position or been struggling with our style and set up, but with the arrival of etherington and Beattie who knows this could be his turning point. I hope so

Well said. There are people who also seem to be forgetting that he's been out injured for some weeks.

Can't fault his effort one bit.
He's been played out of position for a good chunk of his time on the pitch and he's naturally not the quickest player we've got.
Just needs a goal - anything will do - toe poke, off his backside, anything - as soon as he gets his first he will get a few more very quickly.

Oh, and the difference between Sidibe and Kitson is that Mama always, always, always gives 110%, and is perhaps THE central player that our team revolves around. Kitson's attitude and performances need to improve. Can't actually see the point of this thread, Kitson has stayed mystifyingly free of criticism from the fanbase all season despite the fact that he's been consistently mediocre. There is comparatively little in the way of negative commentary.

we have to hope he comes good for all our sakes, those who keep knocking him are just scoring own goals against Stoke. He is not going anywhere, so get behind him and hope the tide turns sooner rather than later.
We know he can do it at this level, so thats not in doubt, its about the lad finding his form. His own clubs fans screaming at him isn't exactly the tonic he needs fellas!
When his first goal does go in I will be shouting as loud as the moment we got promoted, after which my hip flask will get a right hammering. Come on Stoke and Good luck Kitson

I fault his inability to even to attempt to impose himself on a game in anyway shape or form

I think you have just attracted all the kitson undecided's to this thread!
I was well chuffed when we signed him but now I wouldn't be sad to see him go tbh. I'd also be very happy to see him shove the words down my throat and start scoring OR EVEN start creating goals.
At the moment though what gnaws me is his attitude (fell out with faye just as fuller fell out with griff), total lack of goals (he just does not look like scoring)and the fact that he is not creating chances for others.
He's recovering from injury though so I'll give him another chance and another and another.................

as long as he is a Stoke City Player, i will support him all the way.
he's under alot of pressure, knowing that he is our most expensive ever signing, and becasue of that we expect goals, and not getting goals will have a serious impact on his confidence. as soon as he gets his goal, we'll see a different player

Get more balls played into his feet. He'll then soon come good, IMHO.

i recon he will do better now if he gets the chance with etherington and a near full fitness lawrence getting balls in to the box he has gotta score sometime once he has his goal all the pressure is off him and he'll be doing what we all know he is capable of.
