All at home and all tipped to win in my newspaper.
Blackburn v Newcastle Tottenham v Portsmouth West Brom v Middlesboro
I don't suppose they all will win but if we get nothing at the Bridge and the 3 teams below us do well the table might not make pleasant reading after the weekend.
At least we move on to some, uh hum, "easier" games after this!

Yep, 3 draws would be perfect.

Blackburn v Newcastle could well be a draw and perfect. Tottenham were absolute dire v Wigan and Portsmouth aren't too shabby even without Defoe so either a draw or a win for Portsmouth. I think Boro will win at West Brom. It's hard to predict any of those though.

yeah - but whats the betting most of those clubs around us have to play the top four
- four times
whereas, we've only got two of those 'harder' games left

I can see them being draw, home win, draw in that order. Okay, we are, being realistic, likely to lose on Saturday, and drop back into the bottom three, but we have a good stretch of games over the following couple of months to begin the climb to safety. The fat lady hasn't even started gargling yet!

Let's have a bit of optimism. A win on Saturday and we'll probably be around 12th! ;D

On a positive note - the likes of Newcastle, Pompey and Middlesboro being beaten will really bring 6-7 teams into the relegation fight. I think Spurs are too good to go down but the Geordies and Pompey really do not look good. I would bet on West Brazil - Blackburn to go down with us Boro and Pompey fighting not to be 3rd bottom.

I wouldn't worry about it. It's the 24th of May when it matters, not the middle of January and, as castlerock says, if the bottom three win that will mean three teams above us won't be increasing the gap.
