Was reading the post where apparantely he is unsettled, and his fee and heavy expectations were mentioned, but now we have Beattie, I have noticed that the pressure will be on him instead(Hopefully he will be able to handle it). I'm hoping that this will have a positive effect on Kitson who firstly, has less pressure on him, and secondly he has to fight extra hard for his place.
Obviously I'm not expecting a brace against Chelsea, but I'm extremely hopeful that he will open his account soon.

I think many of the stoke fans have never questioned Kitsons ability or his worth ethic but a striker is judged on the goals he scores, hes not always been played in a position which ideally suits him, but now we have etherington who will add the service a player like kitson needs things should start to happen for him. As for beattie well he had a similar experiance when he was at everton so its make or break for him but i guess he will give us his all as will the fans to him, i think were in for a good second half to the season and well done to Mr Pulis for delivering the signings he promised

I hope he is not unsettled, but if Beattie starts getting goals, then he is 4th in the list of strikers (5th if TP prefers Cresswell).
If we bring in another lone striker to cover for Ric he could be lucky to get a game with the reserves.
It shows how much we have moved on that we pay £5.5M for a player who isn't even certain of a place in the reserve side.
There is a solution for Kitson, he starts scoring on Saturday!!

I really do think goals will come, Tone didn't sign him for nothing, he's got a fairly good goal scoring record, and just from his performance against Liverpool it's easy to see he is growing in confidence, and someone said today he was having a laugh at training with Ric, perhaps saturday will be the day
