I'd rather see the back of Pericard first.

I find it odd that Cresswell gets so much stick and negative comments.
He has been getting games ahead of what are supposed to be better players and he gives everything, every time he plays.
I think he is a useful squad player. He may not have that bit of Fuller magic but he is a great asset to have.
We should try him at right back!

if it good for cresser then happy, one thing you can not fault him for is his effort, and was big part in last years promotion team. if he wants to stay and is happy at being 5/6 choice striker, and looks like his left wing spot has gone to matty eth. thus demoting him to cover for the left winger spot then i am more than happy with that also.

i hope cressa stays he can provide half decent cover for either flank or as backup to the strikers ,,,still a valuable member of the squad

Same here, i'd have no problem if Cresser stayed as he's a true pro and you know he won't upset the apple cart when he's not playing. The only problem i do have though is the reported wage he's on. I'm afraid at that price there's no time for sentiment and we could do with offloading him.

Agree a top pro.
Thought he had his best game for ages on Saturday, even though he must have known he is dropping down the pecking order.
Great attitude, great workrate.

I think it gets easier to say you'd like Cresswell to stay as the more likely it becomes that's he's less likely to play.
;D

Cres is what he is. Morons on here slaughter Cres and to be quite frank, it isn't on. It's not the lads fault he isn't technically gifted and it isn't the lads fault he is posted out on the left despite a host of other options.
His work rate if phenomenal, he's a top lad and I for one would like to see him kept on the books.

i think he gets most of his slating because of the reported wage he is on because hes no where near worth 16k a week then again would any club actually take that on? i doubt it very much

him or Pericard is a no brainer! Still i think it'll be hard to get rid of Pericard even on a free.

They agreed a fee with Reading but it was stated they were struggling to agree personal terms and from later reports it seemed Lita had gone back to Reading. I'm not sure the deal is 100% dead but it looks unlikely so I guess this is where the Cresswell rumour has come from.

To be honest i hope he goes. Don't get me wrong the lad works his socks off but he ain't good enough for the prem. We have got to get rid of some players our squad is massive,

Some people have very short memories indeed.
He will always command respect from me as a member of the team that took us to the prem, scoring 14 goals along the way.
Really pisses me off how some on here slate the lad when he gives 100% every time he plays.
Who cares what he gets paid, they all get unrealistic wages so good luck to him.

Football is not a loyalty game. Without cresswell we wouldn't of gone up last season, but the simple truth is he ain't good enough at this level. We are not a charity and we cant afford to keep players that are earning 5-6k a week just because they played an important role last season, get rid of the likes of cresswell, buxton, cort, pugh and pericard and bring in another 1 or 2 prem class players
