Don't know how he can say nothing support, I was talking to a few geordies on the way back to the car and they were saying we were one of the loudest and most passionate groups of supporters they had ever witnessed and could not believe the atmosphere we generated second half when 4 goals down!!

Fantastic.
They beat a team from a division below which cost £49million less than theirs, after a replay and then think they're Real Madrid....

Considering their 'good news' I was absolutely amazed at the lak of passion and atmosphere created by Newcastle, apart from the two or three hundred stood to our left.
The Stoke fans were very good (as you'd expect) but desperatley poor support from the fans that seem to think they're 'unique' in their non stop passionate support!

I think that that report is out of order tbh. Sheer arrogance from a jumped up, nothing team!!! Im amazed that they could be so bitter, especially after the good going over we gave them and the fantastic occasion we put on in the first game. Im shocked!!!

I replied twice and got banned He wanted the top teams in the prem to get a bye until the quarter finals so they wouldn't have to play teams like Stoke. Yes, thats how thick he his, 12th or whatever they are in the league and wants the top teams to get a bye until the last eight ;D ;D Maths not his strong point ;D

Since I spent today staying in Newcastle after last night's game, I don't think that that represents most Toon fans' views. The ones I spoke to were all too excited about the return of the Messiah to slag off Stoke City. They all said that they thought our support was great - really respected us for continuing to sing throughout - and that our side was just overpowered by a team inspired by KK's return and the kick up the arse after the Manyoo result. The local paper reported a post-match interview with TP in which he said that we were off our game and that seven or eight players badly underperformed.

I get the impression that Mr Gareth Harrison does not like our club very much. Considering he mentions 1995 in one of his reports, I will take a guess that maybe he was on the receiving end of some of the events that occured on that night. He does seem to dislike our club one hell of a lot. timesonline.typepad.com/fanzine_fanzone/2008/01/back-to-the-fut.html

fuck 'em, they're a million miles away from the rest of the country and i'm glad. it's a complete myth that they have the most passionate support, the ground is wank, totally disjointed, and they speak in a foreign language. why they get so much media coverage i'll never know.
i've been there now, i can chalk the ground of my list, and i'll never have to go there again.

after reading the report of the biased Mr Harrison i felt the need to post a comment. at this moment in time it is waiting to be approved by the author. jus incase it isn't posted then here is what i said:
"haha harrison, what a deluded little world you live in, "The buzz around the ground was fantastic tonight". Considering you lot were as you say "buzzing" there was very little evidence of it from the atmosphere you created or shall i didn't create. I must say that, that was one of the worst atmosphere's created by a home side i have ever seen. especially by fans of premiership team. on that showing of the infamous toon army its a complete myth that you have the most passionate supporters. Totally pathetic.
i must say that you were right. we were no where near as good as we were in the first game. so we'll leave you with your moment of glory that you have beaten a championship side, as that will be the highlight of your season, because lets face it, you wont get past arsenal and if you do, you wont win the cup.
and as for us not getting promoted, only time will tell. and wen we do, we'll inject some life into the league with our tremendous support every game, whether we stay in the league or not, and then we'll see who the most passionate supports are.
you must really have something against stoke, as all you did in he first part of you report was rubbish the club, what a bitter little, biased man you really are, which means you probably wont aprove this comment. "
and now for the million pound question. will it be posted, personally i think not. but i did have to leave my email address so you never know i may get a reply which i will post, but dont hold your breath
