This message board sometimes completely mystifies me
we sign another striker with a bit of a track record after bemoaning some of the plainly unsuitable players who have been getting on the pitch recently for us and, guess what
a thread appears - 'is this the beginning of the end for Ricardo Fuller' or- something like that ?
and also - does that means Kitsons moving on now ?
DID HE LOOK LIKE HE WAS BLOODY MOVING ON - SATDEE NIGHT ????
CRAZY - absolute muppetry
Of course theres absolutely no sense at all in having 4 fairly decent strikers regularly competing for two places in the first eleven is there ?
And of course no other premier league team has 4 decent strikers competing for places either
Maybe we'd be happier with Creswell and Pericard up front, rather than choosing from Mama - Fuller - Kitson and Beattie
sometimes this place is - well - completely daft
me - I'm rejoicing
not thinking about Fuller going (or Kitson)
and WELL done Stoke City- again - no one can say we didn't push the boat out to stay up - and maybe there's even more to come ?

Most teams in the premier league seem to have at least 4 strikers they can call upon, who you could class as 1st choice strikers, by my reckoning, we have.
Beattie Fuller Kitson Sidebe
as our four.
However would not surprise me if we sign another who could possibly play wide, to give us an extra option i.e Camara.

Absolutely right. How wonderful after 60 minutes to replace Beattie/Kitson with Mama/Fuller or vice-versa. Football today is a squad game -Anelka started on the bench on Saturday

'Surely Fuller is leaving' ? FOR FUCKING HELLS BELLS SAKE ! Of course there is going to be specualtion though isn't there? What it will do is make sure he is not the only one to have a divine right to a starting place.

Wigan and Everton have both been linked with Fuller in the press though Tony. It's no wonder people are getting a bit nervous. Beattie is a good solid signing though.

A lot of people on here are thick.
They forget we need a squad in the premiership.
Fuller is STILL our best player.
And we paid 5 million for Kitson so we HAVE to bare with him.
If Fuller goes, we have Sidibe, Kitson ,and Beattie. Good enough? But he won't , because everyone knows at Stoke how special Fuller is, and they're clever enough to let Ricardo do his thing because they know he can win football matches.

Hehe i like to think i'm not thick but it's not hard to see is it? Fuller, Sidibe, Kitson, Beattie, Camara plus talk of an even bigger name striker aswell. If this happens then surely that's overkill isn't it? They'll all be on big wages and having that much money sat on the bench every week is not good business. We know you need a squad but i'd be happy with a miserable 5 strikers ( ) if it meant maybe having a decent full back or 2.
