Where will Beattie succeed where Kitson has failed.? Are we agreed that Beattie is therefore an overall more accomplished and esteemed striker. Please don't assume that I don't rate Beattie , but I wouldn't like to see another Kitson scenario develop. Kitson cost almost double the money don't forget....? ??? By the tone of your question it seems your almost hoping that he fails. You must be a really die hard PHW. No..Pal your're getting me confused with R.A.F WAS WRONG.

No No Plymumf I am firmly behind Kitson and the signing of Beattie. It's you who seems to want Kitson to fail, but then again it's not the first time you have wanted Stoke to fail either is it? The RAFWASWRONG was my personal apology to Pulis, you need to get over it.

You need to get your facts right before you drivel inanely on and on making yourself look more of a pratt. I never wanted Pulis to fail, I just never thought he would get us promoted. It's that simple.

R.A.F WAS WRONG...I don't have to try to make you look a prat, you're more than capable of doing it yourself.!!
Pulis suceeded as I predicted he would, so shut that ample chasm you call a mouth and engage the brain in future.

mumf apart from rightly predicting Pulis would get us promoted, that is actually it! Everything else you have ever predicted has been absolute bollox, and then you go missing until people forget. I've made one apology, and that was to Pulis. You really need to stop letting the Stoke hating cloud your judgements. It's rather simple, pretty much like yourself, you wanted Stoke to lose and now you want Kitson to fail. I don't think anyone needs anymore evidence of your disgusting hatred of a team you profess to support, in fact I reckon you are a Valeite on a fucking wind up.
Goodnight Judas.

It's called being man enough to admit when you are wrong Judas. Something you will never know! Now talking of broken records:
'As usual I'll start' 'I hope Stoke lose' 'Kitson out' 'Boskamp Bumboys' 'RAFWASWRONG'
You really need to get a new clowns routine Judas you really do, obviously irony to you is something your wife flattens your clothes with. ;D

Kitson is an intelligent footballer who knows how to play proper football.
Beattie is a premier league flop, overweight and past the point where he can cause any problem to a premier league defence.

Pemier League flop? 11, 12, 12, 13, 14 and 23-goal seasons at the top level, largely with a very middling Southampton team. Crikey, we shelled out £5.5m on Kitson on the basis of one 10-goal Prem season apparently making him Prem-proven. And bang on form with 34 in 60 in the C'ship in the last 18 months - with strikers with comparable C'ship strike rates in that period being valued at 2 and 3 times that amount, and the Blades fans calling him their best striker for 20 years I bet you wish the Baggies had comparable 'flops' to call on. I'm certainly glad they don't. Beattie or Luke Moore. erm..er...er...let me think

For me Beattie is Kitson with added strength and bite. If he had another yard or two of pace he'd pretty much be the classic Englich centre forward. He's a good signing and barring injuries i think Kitson will be his substitute for the rest of the season.

I suppose the difference is power and the ability to put himself about and be a nuisance in an old-fashioned way.
He does seem to lack a bit of pace, like Kitson though. And he's only going to get slower at nearly 31.
I still think it's important Fuller is his regular partner to give us another dimension.
We actually could sustain a breakaway counter-attack in away games, for the first time, with Fuller and Etherington in the XI.
