Been told tonight that Tonge and TP have had a falling out, and that he will be on his way.
I think it would be a shame as he has shown some very good glimpses when he has come on.

most natural footballer we have got, one of the few that can pic a pass and unlock defenses, needs a start

He's a good sub to have, but he's useless when he starts a la Portsmouth, Hartlepool. Would rather get rid of Pericunt first obviously. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/3zptH1h3SvRnVmRGLyMP.gif)

He's not good enough...too slow he does have a distinct lack of pace, but appears to have good footballing brain, certainly only ever going to be back up to Etherington though

I like him when he comes on, looks like a smart footballer, very neat and tidy. Don't want him to go to be honest.

Not at all fussed if he's leaving to be honest.
He's was a panic buy on deadline day, and in the games he's started he hasn't impressed.
He's not a winger, and we've got a lot of average (at best) central midfielders as it is.
He's not likely to get a game for us and if he does leave as a make weight in the Beattie transfer then I think it will be a good deal for all the parties involved.

Can't blame him if he's pissed off, he should have been given a few games to show what he could do, when a manager signs you I guess you assume you're going to get a fair crack, as he had a fir crack so far ? .... not in my opinion. Even when Delap was seriously unfit and without his throw he didn't get a real look in.

we would be better playing him in the middle with whelan be we all know pulis likes to have at least one big black man in the centre of the park so will never happen.

He is great as a sub. Players fall out with managers all the time, doesn't mean they up and leave.

It's a shame for the guy tbh and I really can't blame him for wanting to go. From what I've seen of him, he's a pretty good footballer and I think that he could have been given more of a chance rather than coming off the bench but when he's had the chance of a start, he hasn't really impressed enough, whence him being used as a super-sub and Cresswell starting ahead of him. It's a shame if he left tbh as he's much better than the back-up that we've got already, a la Pugh, Demar Phillips, Soares, Cresswell but he must know if he's got a future at the club and tbh, i don't think he has ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/vEIFeJPtIIq1awrUd6zP.gif) shame really and shame with Soares.

tonge looks amazing when he comes on, it baffles me how he doesnt get a start. I think the jury's still very much out on him. A couple of useful appearances from the bench, a couple of dodgy ones, and two rancid starts at Pompey and Hartlepool.

I am not 100% sure, but I think your not allowed to play for 3 clubs in 1 season, so the only place he could move is back to Sheffield United.

totally ambivalent about Tonge going to be honest. I think he will go somewhere and be an asset for someone but he really hasn't done anything of note since being here and that he has fallen behind the forgotten man Danny Pugh in the pecking order would suggest he will never be more than a decent squad player.

I think the limit is no more than two premiership clubs, I don't think the three club rule applies in the premiership, but I'm not an expert on such things.
