my fella works at toyota, great job!! I worked there for 6 months then got a better offer, if you don't mind hard graft, unsociable hours, long days and nights and wankers from Derby/Notts/Brum (there were also some great people from these places) go for it.

Trying to do my bit to help out some fellow Stokies.
I run a national commercial fire and flood Restoration Company and I’m looking for casual employees to work across the UK and very occasionally overseas, cleaning factories, commercial premises and equipment following fires and floods.
We currently have around 20 guys working and have had most of them working for the past 12 months on a fairly regular basis.
We are looking for only very reliable people who are prepared to work hard, plus be away from home for extended periods, sometimes up to a month at a time. The rate of pay is well above minimum wage and there is chance for training for the right people. A clean driving licence is an advantage, plus any relevant knowledge of the industry. It’s hard work with long hours.
If you’re interested please PM me on here leaving an email address, or email odin@btinternet.com and I will arrange to get some further information out to you.
Just one thing, no agencies thanks I deal with them all the time and I want what I pay to go direct to the people I employ not via some third party.

Got some data entry work for reliable student types or similar. It's not hugely well paid (5p per line about 8000 lines between now and March) but it's easy, can fit around other work and you're unlikely to lose a leg doing it. PM for details.

For anyone who has dropped me an email/pm, more information and application forms have been sent out.
Cheesegrater - looking at other casual employees over the last year, they are working, on average round 30 hours per week throughout the year.

He hated it though, said hardly anyone spoke on there, before he worked there he was an outgoing, fun, easy to talk to lad, now he's miserable, quieter, depressed and quite an aggressive lad

Live in Newport and can't drive and i'm finding it very hard to get any work, willing to give anything a go as long as I can get there ie Public transport.
Got my first interview at Telford job centre next week so hoping they can help (doubt it though) as the local papers aren't exactly brimming with opportunities.
Also currently signed on with 4 agencies to no avail.
Any advice on where to look would be greatly appreciated as I am pretty desperate.
