Just finished the book..what a good read that was..all of us saddos who's life and happiness is too closely alligned to the fortunes of SCFC will relate to it, especially the domestic bits..very funny!
BUT it did mean reliving last season and what is very peculiar is that considering it was the most succesful season in a generation IN THE END,reliving some of those games, the team selections and the results of our competitors it was not that enjoyable an experience..and it has to be said we got pretty lucky really.
A good read though but I wish Davejonno you didn't keep refering to one of our competitors as "Bristol"! Its as bad as saying "United" when talking about a certain other club.

Listen, Brizzle Mick, it's unforgivable and I'm sorry. It's patronising and downright insulting to the other team in Bristol. I would like to apologise to everyone connected with Wessex Wanderers.
(Can't quite believe I've just spent 15 minutes scouring Google for a Bristol non-league team for such a lame gag)

Amazon is the obvious place. Or, you might find a copy in your local Waterstones or WH Smiths.

I'm sure winger pays out his slush money more promptly. No he's just as bad, he promised me a copy of "It cracks like breaking skin" , the only one of his books I haven't read for doing a review of one of his books on the oatcake over a year ago.... still waiting

But BM, you say in another thread that you refer to Manure as "Manchester" when infact there is only one team in Manchester (Man City).
Isn't Bristol a rugby club?

You can take winger's money, but don't let him try to pay you off with cake.

My brother-in-law brought it over to Oz for Xmas. Just finished - great read. I am now going to lend it to Stoke City's latest recruits in FNQ, to enlighten them a little - more to the English way of life - they are already lifelong Potters fans

Bearing in mind the difficulties and dispointments faced by Stoke supporters, plus the innordinate amount of moaning we do, is should have been called "Fever Bitch".
