I thought he was very good yesterday, he got little wrong and let the game flow well which is good to see when you have to put up with the likes of Riley at times.
We've had him three times now, I though he was good against Spurs, poor against West Brom and good again yesterday.

I think he is one of those referees that respects the underdogs rather than the big four..I acknowledged that he was a good ref when we had him at Spurs/Sunderland game was it???
I've always rated him actually, we had him a couple of times last season and he is a really solid ref, top bloke...

Yeah, bearing in mind fatboy's rant was designed to put pressure on him as much as have a dig at bluenose he did ok. Not too much favouritism. Overall the best one we've had this season by some distance.

i think he LOVES us .... the amount of decisions he has gave us and let us get off with in the games he has reffed us (whelan or cresswell dancing with torres yday when they literally grabbed him and spun him round to get him off the ball lol)..

I thought a couple of his decisions were laughable. One for a foul where he decided we had the advantage and waved play on - no way did we have any advantage. The other was for a push on Kiston where he decided that Kitson had backed into the player and gave the kick the other way - it was a clear push on Kitson. Apart from that he was fine.

Along with Howard Webb, Lee Mason is one of the two best refs in the country at present.
