Most would have gone down for a pen under that challenge from Whelan (e.g. Gerrard).
Credit to Kuyt for keeping his feet.

In all fairness I thought Liverpool were the best side at the Brit so far as cheating goes. They hardly dived or had a go at the ref. I thought they were quite a fair side.

Agree, Stafford. No diving, complaining el al, as in Maure. They just carried on playing, and were good to watch fairness wise.

we were saying the same thing at the match. Fair play to liverpool. Only a few moans at the ref - maybe less than us. No Diving - few foul throws though

Never minded Dirk Kuyt really, i think he's a Pulis sort of player, in the sense that his work ethic is first class, get a cheeky bid in Tone

I said the same thing at the match about Kuyt if he'd gone done it would have almost certainly been a penalty. Very honest team were Liverpool and a refreshing change to them cheating moaners from Manchester.
The ref looked to have a very good game yesterday is this because he was allowed to ref it and not have a ten man consultation with every ManUre player as was the case with Hoy (or whatever his name was) for the shit game.

I agree with the honesty thing, mentioned it in another thread, L'pool were much better than Man U. I also agree with the poster above who said that's why they won't win the league. You need to cheat like Ronaldo to get three points when you're not playing well. Gerrard would've gone down like the way he cheated against Atletico Madrid for an undeserved last min pen.
Kuyt spent a lot of time moaning to the ref about Sorensens time wasting actually.
Other than that, no complaints! The ref handled the game well.

Kuyt did well yes. Why did Benitez start them with one up front? Are we that dangerous they had to play 5 in the middle? Robbie Keane must be wondering what he's done wrong.

i want liverpool win the league, nice fans and passionate, stooped in history, and unlike arsenal chelsea man utd they dont swarm the ref, at half time or full time, or if a bad decsion is given against them.
