Is it just me or did this guy have another outstanding game today?? Did not see him put one foot wrong!
The whole team was exceptional today (mentions to Faye, Shawcross, Etherington and Higgy) but Abby, for me has probably been the best player in our side for almost every game this season.
If I was right in seeing that across the scoreboard during the game there was a player of the season and he had 70% he deserves every vote, if not more.
I love this guy!!

Signing of the season. Newcastle must be feeling like right tools having seen the performances he turns in week in, week out.

I'm beginning to take him for granted I fear. He is superb. I never considered him for MoM and yet now I reflect on the game, time and again he snuffed out threats and when he has the ball in a tight spot, he is sooo cool. What a player!

I love this guy!! the scoreboard was doing man of the match vote, so there won't be stupid decisions by the sponsors anymore - it's down to the majority vote of the home fans. gona be done every game i think so when griffin appeared in second place for a while it was either fans being funny by voting for him, or thought it was player of the season though why would people be voting for etherington as player of the season - think people!

Mr Cool. Always on top of the job. Tremendous improvement in Ryan since he's played along side the master Question: Why as such a commanding, competent top class player failed to settle anywhere before Stoke- He would always be first name on the team sheet for me

Top performance from our most consistent player of the year. I hope Tony can keep a settled CB partnership, then we'll really see what a top player this guy is.
