Fuller and Sidibe had been playing today then 3 points would have been in the bag.
I thought Liverpool were arrogant, expecting Stoke to rollover against a weakened side... leaving out Torres, Babel and Keane, and still expect to do the job.
Also Kitson was absolutely toss ... he looked lazy, slow, one paced, arrogant and disinterested. I believe he has the ability t but appears to be up his own arse and wishes to be elsewhere.
Interesting that he threw his shirt into the crowd as he walked off.
Pulis eventually dragged him off for Pugh, if he had attacking options on the bench he would have ben hauled off long before
Lets hope Pulis cuts his losses and gets rid in Jan.
We also need a Right Back, Wilko is way out of his depth, Griffin is not fully fit and Pulis obviously is not too keen on Davies despite spending good money on him

i thought kitson deserved a goal today. I didn't think he was that bad coming back from injury and playing against the experience and height of hyppia. Good match practise for him. Wilko also thought he had a good game, wasn't the best such as when he got taken down the wing by babel, but for a young growing lad i think he did well. We held liverpool to a 0-0, who a week before had beaten newcastle 5-1! Yes we do miss sidibe and fuller but i'm over the moon with picking up a point against a team at the top of the league. Etherington was a real asset to the team, quick and pacey and can cut inside and play off a good ball. Great debut for the lad.

Have to agree about Kitson, don't know about him being up his own arse, but he certainly spends a lot of his time on it. Running through treacle doesn't come into it. I can't wait for Beattie to show him how it should be done, always assuming his transfer han't gone tits-up.

every game i've seen Kitson play,he seems to be mentally miles in front of anyone else on the pitch. Some of the balls he's laid off would have been brilliant,if others anticipated better.I'm sure he'll come good...

One Fuller and Mama are back and AN Other signed in the transfer window, Kitson will be lucky to be warming the bench

I guess football is all about opinions and its weird how two people see the same game so differently but for me Kitson showed in spells just what a good player we could have on our hands.
Stoke threatened Liverpool regularly with our first glimpse of a proper winger in bloody years and Kitson looks like he'll thrive in that style of play. Today it almost feels like we've started the season agiain and this time Kits could fly

Kitson did indeed show glimpses of what ability he had, but they were surrounded by long periods where the game went on without him. First half he was embarrassing and at half time the people around me were comparing him with Pericard. TP was very frustrated with him.
Second half the referee got him annoyed and that is when we saw what he is capable of. The run to meet Rory's throw was sublime and deserved a goal. However the open goal when given the ball by the keeper was in the words of the Sunday Times reporter 'Hackney Marshes finishing'.
He still has a long, long way to go. I was one of those who gave him a standing ovation. Being critical of him whilst he is on the pitch is unlikely to lift his confidence. Cheering him and chanting his name is more likely to improve his mental reluctance to realise his footballing ability.

If only we'd had the Lino from the Everton v Dull game, we'd have 3 points now. The first goal was more offside than our own Shawcross goal

I have to say sjs, that's pretty much what I've been seeing too. I'm not suggesting that Kits is anything like the quality of Berbatov, but if Dimitar had joined Stoke at the start of the season, as a complete unknown, I'm pretty sure he'd be receiving similar negative opinions to the ones that Kitson gets now. I see a really intelligent, skillful player in Kitson, one who has found it difficult to fit into our game plan, but that's not to say that he has faired any less better than some of the top players in the Prem would have done in similar circumstances. I really believe that if Ledley arrives, coupled with fully fit and on form regular displays from Etherington and Lenny then we will see, that we actually have one of the best English strikers in the UK on the books at Stoke.

I can't comment on seeing his "intelligence", but seeing his skill is pretty difficult from here. Where did you see him being particularly skillful today. When their goalie miskicked it to him he skillfully controlled it to about 10 yards in front of him.

Fuller's act of petulance at West Ham may not have cost us as much as people think at West Ham. The score was 1-1 when the incident happened and TP ballsed up big style by bringing on Pericard to replace Pugh (a change he was planning at 1-0). We may still have gone on and lost to West Ham, and we may have only drawn today's game as well, but having seen how superbly Stoke played today, you can't help but think that a fit and on-form Fuller would've caused Liverpool more trouble than Cresswell did. So, well done Ricardo.

You are half right and half wrong harrydan. Kitson played well, I thought. But a mix and match of Mama, Fuller and Kitson combined with decent wing play for once would quite possibly have won the game for us. It would have given us much more pace than Cresswell provided and Mama would have probably had Hypia blowing through his @rse by the final quarter!

I though Kitson played well as he is coming back from injury and not fully maych fit, that chance from Rainer's clearance, if that had been Torres it would have probably been scored, that's the difference of a partially fit £3m player and a £23m player.Like to see him and Beattie together at Chelsea next wek ;D

Get a grip fella!

Kitson had a good game, considering he's not played a competitive game since November, and did the Mama role a lot more willingly, however frustrated he must have felt.
if he had more luck Kitson could have had 2 goals, when he gets 1 Im sure they'll come flying in.
