Hopefully the stock market has bottomed out and its a good time to try to use some of the savings investing in shares. Certainly nowt in putting it in a savings account.
Does anyone know of any good info points or have any ideas of good things to read to get the lowdown.
I've had a few dabbles in the past and done pretty well but these have all been on companies when I've had some accurate info on the nod. Not enough and not frequent enough to make a serious profit over a longer term though.

motleyfool seems to be good straight info, not hot tips or anything though. I'd have thought it was still a pretty bad time if you're into this stuff though, aren't the nags still a better bet?

ADVFN is a decent site, get on their free discussiond board, some educated opinions to be found.
Remember...........................................Only invest what you can afford to lose !!
It may be worthwhile having a look at ISA's ? Look at New Star European Growth Fund, managed by a Richard Pease ( he was Jupiter's top fund Manager before he left ). Currently 78p per unit.
