.............using wingers and playing sexy football?
This is not a TP bashing thread. I'm just asking if anyone knows whether in his 1400 years of management whether he has sent out teams that were capable of playing sexy football?
At home when we are going full bore, the crowd are going mental, I love watching it. Away matches bring me down to earth with a bang even though our away following has been nothing short of superb to watch/hear all season.
TP has openly admitted he was after wingers in the summer window. Was he a leopard trying to change his spots that was forced into reverting to what he knows best and is this transfer window his attempt at bringing sexy football to the Brit that may just keep us up?

If we have pace wide it'll take some pressure of our overburdened central midfielders. It'll mean the opposition have to leave at least two back to cover our wide man and give more scope for the midfield to support the attack.

It will certainly give the oppostion managers extra thought about their defenive duties, good wingers are hard to come by and are expensive, Pennant (prat) and Lennon when on their game are great to watch, but I like the lad who we will face today Rieria (sp) is bigger and stronger and cn strike a ball lovely
Watching the Reading Watford game last night, Reading's first goal was scored by the overlapping full back inside the penalty area, will we ever see that?

Just seen the goals from that one. Seemed like everything was coming in from the bye line. Ever likely the ginger one is struggling.

Not many things as exciting as a wide player getting to the byeline and moving in on goal. And when you get the defence having to attack the ball facing their own goal all manner of incidents ensue.

It won't be sexy, it'll just be a bit of a tease, like a victorian woman flashing her ankle
