After climbing them stairs fuck me sideways what a mission No bones about it we were poo. but i would of taken a 6-0 loss as long as we win saturday gabi, SJE, de lap, parkin, and creswell all had shocking games, with gabi being the worst he was awful. liam, ricci and pugh tried but to no avail. leon and ryan looked alright first half but went to sleep 2nd half. simo showed yet again that he needs to open his gob in the area more. great to see salif back, and when he came on we tightend up in the middle and looked that bit better, but it was too late. good day out impressive ground but been better. toon army were shite in my opinion oh and the ID cards showed again why they are needed, fucking mindless idiots again. And TIMMIS your a fucking idiot. Roll on saturday griff and diao in

Agreed re: ID Cards, I didn't get mine checked, I am sure many others did not either. Some so called Stokies there tonight were embarassing, but I suppose that is what you get with 'big' games, I wonder where they will all be Saturday!?

KNow what you mean about the idiots mate. in rosies before the game fans mingling, then few stoke start mouthing off, next thing the Geordies retailiate, skirmish kicks off then outside there is a stand off between the 2 groups.we was watchin from the relative comfort of Harry's across the road... while we had no problrms all day it was easy to find it and seemed to me there were numerous stoke intent on finding it!

Last night proved that, whilst Zak is a decent centre back he is no right back. His distribution was awful. I noticed that when Diao came on he sort of took Zak under his wing and gave him a few passes where Zak had plenty of time and space and then Diao moved into position to take a return pass. In my opinion the loss of Dicko and Wilko from the starting 11 unbalanced the whole side. Pity Griff hadn't signed a week earlier. As regards idiot Stokies, I saw a few examples on my way out. I had left the car at my uncle's a few stops down the metro. As a huge crowd of mainly Geordies were heading to Monument Metro Station a couple of Stokies decided to start mouthing off. But our brave lads didn't mouth off at those wearing black and white colours - oh no, our brave boys decided to scare the life out of a few ladies (young and old) who were waiting for buses. Well done lads, your mums will probably be proud of you.

gabi, SJE, de lap, parkin, and creswell all had shocking games, with gabi being the worst he was awful. Watching from Delilahs, I thought SJE was our best player by far, he was involved in everything.

I personally didn't think any of our players had a good game. It could well rank as our worst performance of the season.
With us being so high up it was sometimes difficult to even tell who our players were!! It was a ridiculous height!
As for Zak, he wasn't very good. I didn't think he was our best player on Saturday either. First half at Portman Road he was shocking. Improved second half and made a couple of decent challenges. He can't kick a ball properly though. A right back needs some kind of culture when it comes to distribution!
Nice to see Salif get a few minutes under his belt and he did alright.
All the goals we conceded were amateur and if we were to go up, we would need to hugely improve to avoid 'doing a Derby'
The ground was very impressive but I would hate that view every week. I didn't feel involved in the game at all.Yes, the stairs were a right old mission!
Also, why on earth did we stop at THOSE services?(Washington) Absolutely shocking!
Finally, Toon Army seemed quiet apart from those schoolkids who were sitting to the left of us...literally none of them were over about 18!
Bring on PNE

We were just out done by the occasion last night. Simple as that. When I heard 'King Kev' was coming back on the train up, I knew we were in for a tonking. The buzz around St James was mental, and the queues massive. Zak, Delap, Parkin, Cresswell had shockers IMO. But like i say, we were always in for a thrashing. Diao looked a class apart when he came on, moving the ball around from the centre. The build up to Lenny's goal was of the highest quality, 11-12 passes up to pugh, then inside to Lenny- and he gave s something to cheer If we play like that against Preston, we'll murder them. Shame about the few idiots about. Couple behind me got chucked out for drinking and then mouthing off at the copper, it was embarrassing-then the abuse that copper got after was a joke too. Little bit of fighting in the street after too. But overall, good atmosphere from the stokies ;D Back to the league now!

Wot suprised me at the game was i know cresswell is playing out of position, but his body language was shocking i think everyone in the ground could tell he did'nt want to play there. ok we were gettin battered down that side but when he first played in that position he would keep goin for the cause!!!! he only looked interested when he moved up front

To all of those who went, top work on the vocal front, you could be heard on the radio (and on MOTD highlights) the whole way through.

Wot suprised me at the game was i know cresswell is playing out of position, but his body language was shocking i think everyone in the ground could tell he did'nt want to play there. ( We were talking about Cressy in the car on the way home. With Griff's arrival you've got to see Pugh pushing forward to the left hand side and Cressy playing up front in the short term, but when Mama returns or if another striker arrives then you have to fear that he'll be out of the starting eleven. Overall he's done pretty well out on the left, but I think it's starting to catch up with him.
