Having smoked for 30 yrs, and having tried on quite a number of occasions to quit.. patches, chewing gum ect.. Its been over a week now without a ciggie, just relying on will power..Im happy at this, however my biggest threat to start again is when I go for a drink.. Ive managed to stay clear of the booze aswell, but that wont be for too much longer... now some folks swear by these inhalers that look like a plastic fag.. as any one tried one?.
The only thing that is a bit off putting, is I would imagine you look a right burk taking pretend drags off this thing.. but if it works then who cares.. are they any good?

After 25 years plus of smoking i managed to give up for the past 3 years. All i can say is that when you have the urge for a ciggie just think how bad you would feel afterwards should you have one, and alternatively think of the positive in relation to how good you feel for not succumbing to having one.
It's hard mate and the urges last for around 3-4 months before they start easing and getting more controlled.

After 30 odd years of smoking anything i could inhale i packed in 31 days ago, no patches, no gimmicks just plain will power, felt like shit after 10 days and thought i was going to drop dead, I now feel like shit but have no desire to smoke again, I've also noticed a surplus of cash still in my account after stopping spending £5 + a day on the fuckin things, 5x31=155, £155x12 over a year = lots of nice things for me and not for the treasury.
