Does anyone know what the common demoninator is with this lot?
Ill tell you what, they all started off playing wide for their respective clubs.
After plenty of poor performances they were all used as central midfielders where they bloomed.
So what do we do either sign them to play wide or show interest in signing them to play wide.
Ledley was bordering on being dropped by Cardiff earlier this season playing wide left so moved him to the centre.
Exactly the same with Surman.
If you want wingers Pulis sign wingers.
I fear another financial bollock with Ledley, decent player with little pace and good touch .

Tonge had come on as sub and performed very well everytime? In fact v Hull and WBA he actually changed the games in our favour! Dont judge him on Hartlepool game

Excluding Vince, Tonge's performance at Portsmouth was the worst of any Stoke player this season. It was no surprise that yesterday we were completely over run in midfield.
I don't think Surman or Ledley are going to give us the instant boost we need.

Tonge's best days at Sheff utd, when he broke into the team and was a £3m Liverpool target, were playing out wide on the Left.

Ledley plays wide left for Wales and does a very decent job there.
That said, the plan may be to sign both Ledley for CM and Surman for LM.

Well regarding the wing i would like someone like Jarvis from the Wolves.
Basically anyone with pace who can get the whole team further up the pitch.
I would definitely be in for Camara or Lita
Hopefully another big mama type as well.
Hopefully lawrence can sort the right side out.
I would be looking for two full backs also who are comfortable on the ball going forward and can PASS.

" I think that Pulis should take Stonkos advice and sign that bloke from Nancey"" Pulis is likely to sign a bloke called Nancey!
