not playing today against gillingham today
surly there is a reason behind this considering carew and agbonlahore out 2 other strikers playing but not harewood.

interesting. You'd have thought he would be playing today, either he's injured or on the move ?.

they would have said if harewood was injured on the coverage and i dont think its a case of playing lesser players because oneil said carew would have played if he wasnt sick

The reason why Harewood is not playing is quite simple. He is bloody rubbish. So that means Pulis will almost certainly try to sign him

It says a lot for where we are at that Marlon Harewood is like a messiah,he is distincly average.

good news that hes on as a sub - cup tied for other teams that might have otherwise wanted him?

They paid £3.7 for him, so want atleast that much back if they were to sell him.
It makes me laugh how people on this board say a player is only worth X amount. Prices have been inflated, hense Ledley costing £6-7 million to bring to the club

Id like Harewood in, a HUGE improvement upfront then having Vince up there.
Harewood would be nice for saturday please!

Id like Harewood in, a HUGE improvement upfront then having Vince up there. if John Gayle was put up front, it would be a HUGE improvement on pericant, so thats not saying much for Harewood, although we could do with him in our team

Marvin Robinson anyone? remember him?!
Oh a serious note. If there is any chance that TP starts with a Perican't - Delap strikeforce at Liverpool we are seriously fucked. Plus by sheer miracle I notice that Torres has returned to fitness just in time for our match

Harewood would be an ideal signing for us, if he is good enough to be on the bench for a top 4 side then he is good enough to start for us.

Harewood would be an ideal signing for us, if he is good enough to be on the bench for a top 4 side then he is good enough to start for us. I think he would help us out a lot to be honest ... especially at the moment. The argument to that of course is that he isn't good enough to sit on the bench for a top 4 club .... that's why they want rid of him

Not as good as Fuller but an improvement on Cresswell and Pericard, so given our current options he would be an ok signing but not earth-shattering. A loan to the end of the season would be better in my opinion, at least we can give him back if he doesn't make an impact.
Fact is some people are slating him and saying no chance but he's the type of player we could realistically get.... I would love to see us get somebody like Ebanks-Blake but realistically we have more chance of getting Harewood and he would also be cheaper. There are a limited number of players in our marketplace and if we rule out the likes of Harewood who are we left with??

Kitson Goals, were you not saying that he was definitely signing straight away?
