I f you don't like the way we play - then find another line of attack. Can't think of any? - then just ask who do we ask pulis himself, will he listen, how do we get an appointment I am sure that if you present yourself at the ground on Monday morning with a decent CV in pro football management and the necessary UEFA coaching qualifications your ideas will be warmly welcomed.

"They kept faith with him [Curbishley] and he established them as a Prem side." Can't seem to find Charlton listed among this season's Premier League clubs or last season's, so doesn't that kind of rule them out as being an established Premier League side? Just thought I would ask.

Just thought I would ask. Thanks for asking. Curbishley established them as a useful, Premier League side who finished mid-table every season. He left, they got relegated. I hope this helps.

Quote - Does PC actually enjoy watching Pulis' brand of football, he has only ever had his teams play one way and can't change it. God help us. Bring back that fat Dutch bloke, at least his interviews were funny.
What I am sure of is PC actually enjoys watching Stoke in the Premier league with a "competitive side", he enjoys the sell out games week in week out, he likes the number of season tickets sold, he likes the sales in the club shops, owning our own stadium and training facilities. MMMmmm lets see, does he need to change anything.....>..........
If he does'nt change something, he wont like a half filled stadium, he wont like 8,000 season ticket holders and he won't like the down turn in club shop sales.

Would have liked to have seen Pulis explain yesterday's utter garbage to PC.

If the crowd turn against the manager Coates will be under pressure to get rid. Especially if gates fall* and we are adrift at the bottom, which is a real possibilty. *but we know they won't because 1. People are bewitched by the Prem and its so called "quality" football and 2. the CE gerrymanders gates cashing in on glory hunters who want to watch Utd but have to by a ticket for some no-mark team.

spot on Pugsey But as you can see on here Pulis retains the fans support - probably higher levels amongst the non internet fans (as websites tend to attract a high percentage of depressives) Of course if we stop winning at home and the performances like Blackburn become the norm then the pressure would be huge and eventually difficult to resist Pulis will know like all managers that he survives on results but he has two things in his favour The bulk of fans would like to see him see the season out He is very close to PC We remain optimistic after a good first half

Who remembers, 'Pulis, Pulis what's the score' and thinks we may hear the like again this season?

It has to be said that this could be the same board (bored?) I stopped taking part in a year ago. Complete polarisation of opinion over Pulis. And the point is the same now as then. TP has complete job security. He will be our manager next year no matter what, unless he decides to leave.
You don't have to love it or hate it, you do have to live with it. And by the way all you philistines, we ain't going down.
Back to obscurity.
Happy new Year. Malvern.

Anything can happen eventually if results are that bad
However as almost all sides in the Prem have better players there will be a much higher level of tolerance this term
Witness our last home match - lose in the last few minutes to the hated enemy - standing ovation

Why is Tony Pullis a Legend ????
He won a promotion...... And though its great to be back in the top flight.....this hardly puts him in the Legend bracket.
Durban did the same , is he a Legend ????
Waddington , Banks , Smith , Greenhoff , Hudson , Ritchie , Mathews , Franklin and the like...these are Stoke Legends.......Does Tony Pullis really deserve to be mentioned in the same breath ???? NO WAY
We are in the top flight , struggling cos we are predictable , pedestrian , one dimensional....always have been and always will be with Pullis......this was good enough to get us up , but to progress further and establish ourselves back in the top flight we need to be more than this !!!!!
Pullis did a great job....FACT He has taken the club as far as he can.....FACT
He will go....FACT

malvern Not quite the same as the poll shows pulis fans outnumber the PHW's 6 to 1 at least I thought the poll was about whether you wanted him sacked or not. It was not "who is a PHW" and who isn't. Some people also voted multiple times. I said I didn't want him sacked, but I don't want to be counted in your list of "Pulis fans". Lies lies and statistics

Watching the highlights of Forest Green vs Derby, we would have struggled to cope with either team.

Legend - I didn't suggest he was but if we stick around in the Prem for a few seasons - and he improves the football then he could become one PHW's - apologies for the term - obviously incorrect - though I was called one myself today
