Did anyone see the cheating Parkin get a perfectly good Preston goal ruled out against Liverpool?
It seems Parkin is as much good for Preston as he was for us.
USELESS

I watched a bit of the match and Parkin actually caused Liverpool some problems and was bringing his fellow Preston players into the game - but his foul to deny Preston the goal was daft.

What an idiot he was, I bet they are all loving him today in Preston.

he was just trying to get his match pie back from Carragher who had stolen it a few moments before from his sock.

I thought he had a good game. His hold up play is at times very impressive. I also saw him score a really good late winner against Birmingham recently.
I'd have in Stoke's team before Pericard.

Actually, it should have been a penalty to Preston. Immediately before that incident, he was hauled down by Carragher. Unfortunately, neither the ref or the linesman were watching what was going on.
I, too, would have him in the side any day before Pericard.
OS.

You like the ref missed the stonewall penalty on Parkin by Carragher.Parkin was 20 times more effective than the useless apology for a footballer Pericant, was against a lowly Div1 defender.

If he hadn't hauled him down, they might not have got it in first place.

played well did Parkin
Felt a bit sorry for him at Stoke because he was not being used as an out and out striker-which he is
1000 times better that Pericard will ever be

Parkin isnt a player who will run his balls off to latch onto a pass and run at defenders (like Fuller) or run his balls off to deny players space and pressure the ball in midfield (like Mama) so he was never going to fit our style. But anyday he is better than Pericard.
He is player more suited to getting the ball in to feet and holding it up and bringing others in to it.

Dave are you suggesting that Vince has contributed more since June 2006 than he did before? I'd say the original comment stands regardless of when he joined the club ;D
