Higginbotham? Captain? No thanks, average at left back and showed that he clearly dosnt give a toss about Stoke when he waltzed out for a second rate Prem club last time round. There really is one man for the Job, and we all know thats Abdoulaye. We know he is an average left back because he is a quality CB that is his position, yeah he walked out on the club last time round but he is here for the fight this time around. If you want to know who is responsible for playing a quality CB at left back then you know where to look Im not blaming Higginbotham for being played out of position, we all know whos doing that is, but I just dont agree with having a captain that isnt good enough to warrant playing in his best position. We need someone that all players respect and know they can rely on, and the fact is that while Higginbotham continues to needlessly punt the ball aimlessly every time he gets within 3 foot of it, then if it were my choice, he wouldn't even get a look in.

Make Higgy captain - are you having a laugh? We should never had had this mercenary back. All he does is hoof hoof hoof. Total waste of posession.
Abdoulaye Faye is the captain of choice for me.

loyalty counts for fcuk all ! would you leave your job to double your money ? who wouldn't ? Anyone with any moral fibre living comfortably on an already extortionate wage. I know if I was lingering in a dead end job before somebody took a gamble on giving me a better job on an IMPROVED salary - I'd be more than willing to turn down a slightly better offer from a bigger company in order to thank those that took a risk on hiring me. Especially given the fact that within a year, the company I'd be leaving may actually be just as big and succesfull as the one I'd be jumping ship for.
