All,
Simple - why are people always looking for someone to home in on, its either TP, Fuller, Pericard or Coates...
Did people really think we wouldnt go through this season without a bad run???
Ok - i`m gutted today but in reality a few weeks ago everyone was over the moon.
If, and its a big if, we can get over this (especially considering the next two games) then its just a blip which i think we all expected at some stage this season.
The above isnt even taking into account all the injuries.
Thank god its Jan though and we have options to buy/loan.
Sometime i despair at the lack of football knowledge on here, we are Stoke City, not Manchester United or even Wigan...

A blip 7 games without a win? Losing to a side Crewe stuffed the previous week, this is getting very concerning now

Definatly agree with this. Every team has one, Hull , like us are going through one. It happens. I dont expect us to get anything (maybe a point) out of the next two games. After that, wth a few more signings, i hope we can again kick start our premier league survival campagn.

Yes i agree but as i said, if we can turn it around then its just a blip.
People must surely wait until at least the end of Feb before overreacting like this. We have had a bad December but thats it really for the season so far.

Every team has one I agree but we haven't adapted to why we are in this run. That is Mama being injured but we haven't changed and still play like the big man is up there. That is the worry for me because with one injury we were fooked!

True and again i agree.
Allow me to add another point for discussion:
I`m sure TP is trying to replace Mama with Harewood or whoever but...
Can we actually adapt our style of play with the current crop of players?
People have been screeming (including me) to have Soares, Tonge and Whelen in the same team.... oh... and Davies..
Did it work? Did we play well? Were we playing Liverpool or Hartlepool? Did they have motivation to play well today?
Obvious answers.
I honestly do not think we can play any other way than we do.
We need the following type of player -
Fabregas, Barry, Arteta, Gerrard...
The playmaker, the one who drops off, who floats, who makes everything happen.
Whelan cant do this IMHO.
a creative CM is as important for me as 1/2 forwards.

1 win in 10 no away wins 1 win in home in 5 Bad Run???? Yes bad run. The away wins is very worrying though. Our style of play isnt suited to away games is it. It is worrying in terms of our away performances. I feel that with the support we will still challenge at home against anyone though.
