If ever there is a good time to have a bad run it is now. We have injuries and suspensions. We just got kicked out of the FA cup by a lower league team but look forward a bit. We were only ever going to get bonus points in Jan (FA cup aside). By the end of Jan we should have players back from injury and all suspended players should be back. Hopefully a few new signings to come as well. Feb onwards is what we should be looking at. We have a fairly good final 3rd of the season so far as there are more points within our reach. With other teams heading downhill fast I honestly believe we will stay up and quite comfortably too. We will be OK.

Even when players are fit and available Stafford they dont get played?or are played out of position?...that is why we are where we are?

I have always said we will stay up, and still believe we can, although we havent helped ourselves with a poor run in December. January was always going to be tough, if we can get any points from those four games, it will be a bonus. A lot will depend on what happens in this transfer window, if TP gets the players he is targeting, we will definately have a good chance. One thing is for sure, if people think we are to be relegated because we have a bad FA Cup result, we would be relegated nearly every season

i've no doubt at all we'll stay up!!
However, in true stoke style, it'll be painful and hard work right up til the 90th minute at the Emirates

So we wont get injuries and suspensions in the second half of the season and any players brought in are going to improve the squad...........like your optimism

I just think we have a very good chance and are not cut away from the league. A couple of wins and we are half way up the table.

This transfer window is financially the biggest and most important month there has ever been for Stoke City Football Club.
Get it right and we are guaranteed more millions, get it wrong and the club will be stuck with vastly overrated overpaid players who will be a huge drain on the finances.
